| What CD is in Your Car Now?..... Posted: 4/28/2007 12:52:12 PM | | I've had vehicles broken into before and large number of cd's taken, so I don't carry a large case of them anymore. I learned my lesson. I have about 300 or so CD's in my collection now, but i'll just carry about 5 or 10 at a time in my car, so if I get ripped off again, the loss won't be so huge. | |

But, threads like this to talk about music and cars and dogs and religion and to be able to enjoy folks like billbutler and you and the others..........Now THAT's what a community is about. DATING? Hmmmm...will have to think about it.

| What CD is in Your Car Now?..... Posted: 4/28/2007 3:13:15 PM | ...if you throw in an extra couple of cd's, Northridge isn't that far from Malibu Canyon..... make it great music for a great gal! | |

| What CD is in Your Car Now?..... Posted: 4/28/2007 5:38:16 PM | Cooky, I think you are right. Not bad tunes.... but I am pretty much Country & Oldies. I think it is cool that no one is required to follow the map here. I take the road less travelled!!!
Can list Radio stations on a CD thread! Will never forget Rock & Roll!!!!

I need an Ipod BADLY, but I refuse to use one of those piss poor FM modulator systems. Direct connection or nothing!!!

Most people use an FM modulated system to play them through car stereo's, but most manufacturers offer a direct digital connection (MUCH better quality signal). You can also purchase aftermarket stereo's with direct digital connections.
Basically you can store your entire CD collection on something smaller and lighter than a pack of smokes. Its very nice.

Brandi Carlile. I have the song "The story" on repeat. I love to hear it over and over again. Her voice is all pitchy and breaks up.
She would never make it on American Idol and who cares because she is awesome!

My Gaawd, Those boys were Hot. **** Betts solos on that slide guitar is just playing some tasty licks. I think I might be able to make it to El Paso without changing CD's again.
