Well game 1 has past for the Patriots and Randy Moss was excellent today. Today the Pats got their money's worth, which only cost 4th rounder. Hopefully this shuts some critics up for this week.

So Randy Moss had a great game.
Yeah, he did.
Of course, a broken clock tells the correct time twice a day....
I'll reserve my "Rand Moss has been redeemed" praise when he handles adversity the same way he handled success....

He was worth the 4th round pick just by doing what he did today... the rest is gravy.

Do we all remember this thread?

A lot of posts mentioned that he was going to be a disappointment, but proved a lot of critics wrong this year. He even broke Jerry Rice's TD record. Although near the end of the year he did stir up a little trouble with some women down in Florida, but we never heard much about it.

I think Moss should be a Patriot next year and I hoping the Patriots come up with something to keep him. Although trying to keep Moss doesn't affect keeping players like Samuel.

He is on his downward spiral, but he is good for the Pats.

It's time for Chad Jackson to finally step up.

"It's time for Chad Jackson to finally step up."

Your right on that one, but Belichick hasn't been very pleased with the way he has developed. I heard a few weeks back that the Broncos were interested trading for Chad Jackson, but nothing came of it.

Randy Moss has surely been a great leader for the Patriots these last two seasons. Critics have said that Moss would complain when he doesn't get the ball, but not a peep. Even with Cassel at QB Moss has rallied and supported Cassel.

Moss had an awful game last week against the Steelers with several drops and took the blame like a man. Moss has been nothing but a great player since signing with Patriots. And just to think we have another two more years of him. When Brady gets back next year, both these players will put up great numbers again I am sure.

Funny thing, the Pats gave only a 4th round pick for him, while Dallas gave a 1st, 3rd, and 6th for Roy Williams and a 7th round pick. That is very surprising that the Detroit front office was able to pull that off, ironically as soon as Millen left. Now let's see if they can do anything with those picks, based on past history, doubtful.
