| SMILE A LITTLE SMILE Posted: 5/5/2007 9:41:28 AM | SMILE A LITTLE SMILE
Smile a little smile, go the extra mile, Touch a friendly heart, when you're miles apart.
Let your day begin, with just a little grin, then stretch it through A smile or two.
The next thing you know, your spirits will grow, like birds of a feather, when you smile together.
Thanks for your cute poem Casheyes....good to see you drop by.

| SMILE A LITTLE SMILE Posted: 5/5/2007 10:09:19 AM | Smile a little smile dream a little dream stand on this mountain top be the wind with me....
When the night falls, let the moon whisper it's secrets of the dark, in the dark...awaiting a new dawn....
Dance with me.... dance in the the rain knowing the only shelter you need is me...holding you in my heart...
He paints us a rainbow after the rain, just to remind us the spirit never forgets... to remind us ...nor should we...
Together, dancing with our hearts...........embraced as one.....

| QUEST Posted: 5/5/2007 10:29:22 AM | QUEST
Together, Dancing with our hearts, Embraced as one, Miles apart.
Four eyes, Locked with one sight, Dancing long, into the night.
Two hearts, spirit blended quest, bodies floating, Astral guest.

| QUEST Posted: 5/5/2007 3:10:20 PM | Hiya Mandrake,
Nice thread you have going here!!! Hope all is well!!!
Warm rain drips slowly off the pine branches The heavy boughs bend slightly A rich aroma floats within the air Sweetness as I breath in lightly
Sunlight breaks through the lifting clouds Double rainbows begin to appear One forming right above the other The end of the storm is finally near…..

| PARABLE Posted: 5/6/2007 7:25:41 AM | PARABLE
Wandering, aimless and distracted, Through mountains and wilderness green, Endless paths of my impatience growing, Come to rest at the edge of the ravine.
Here I lay my head, but for a while, Calm the soul, adrift to dream, The folly of the idle flies, Follow not the silent scream.
|
| PARABLE The Silent Scream Posted: 5/6/2007 7:51:22 AM | THE SILENT SCREAM
I came upon a clearing, and here, I met the gathering horde, The beggars, the cripples, the blind man with his sword.
It is here, the lesser find A tongue for the Silent Scream, This place of undesirables, Ahhh, this place, they are free to dream!
|
| PARABLE On The Virtuous! Posted: 5/6/2007 8:50:20 AM | ON THE VIRTUOUS
Ahhh, but those of virtue, Who stand before the virtuous claim, To be risen up before their kind, By virtue, this is their fame.
Go now, you disciples of virtue, Quench your insatiable thirst, For jewels and yellow lustre, Till your soul is ready to burst!
To those of the Golden Serpent, You virtuous seekers of fame, Hear not of what you speak, Your soul is one of shame.

| MANDRAKES house by the fire...for all to share Posted: 5/6/2007 8:30:55 PM | Cruel intentions of self destruction It’s all she knows Life lived through all those she loves Someday she’ll have the courage to change
Hell created by her own admissions She’s supposed to be perfect … in the eyes of others and the eyes in the mirror Yet she hates those expectations
Why can’t she be her own girl Someday she’ll live her own life She wants to scream … … but there’s no sound no sound
She looks in the mirror and cries She can’t even see herself Lost, broken, pieces scattered She looks in the eyes of others But there’s no comfort … the pieces don’t fit
A little here, a little there She’s given herself away …. Unknowingly Now she kills herself … …. To find herself And she can’t even see what’s there
She cries, but there are no tears The river is dry … And so is she
She’s so scared … Will she ever be herself Will she ever have the faith … And the courage to change
Or will she forever remain …. A prisoner Of herself, her parents, her children Will she ever know … will she ever know
She tries … she cries … the fear is strong So she takes it away Self destruction Self inflicted
PAIN
She rips her heart, her world, her everything For that’s all she knows She asks why, but it’s always the same Be your own …. Be your own
Yet she doesn’t know how And she’s so scared to try
If I’m breathing …. Just love me If I’m not … bless me For I am where I need to be
