Mandrake's Circus Poster in the center I saw your pic How'd you ever manage to do it quite so slick Man, it was a great trick
Made me want to run away from this dull life of mine If I could join the Circus and had an act to perform I'd have a better time
Your Circus Poster is gone I'm still kinda' in shock Did the Mods tear down your only Circus Poster? Threaten your existence? Was your head on the proverbial chopping block? I hope not.

| Mandrake's House by the Fire Posted: 5/15/2008 8:51:23 PM | (I asked my friend to give me a topic to write about. She said, "paint. painting." So, this is what I doodled...)
Paint
I touch it hesitantly, at first. with sable brush and a sigh, turn my head sideways at the canvas, the canvas that is you.
The color is a pale blue sky wrapped around the edge of tomorrow with promise, like horizons at sun-up beckoning a new day to spread his
image across the easel of morning, posing with a beginner's mind because I will never see this moment again, not in this light the
light of potential willing to lay itself on the smooth cotton paper arms reaching back for the paint-tipped brush asking for expression
of paint. Imagination serving the vision by imprinting color across linear thinking in swirls like a weather front
gathering winds in the butterfly's dress, to splash a rainbow in cobalt and crimson on the page that is titled "hello."

and watched it bleed through,
like a silken transparency, invisible to it's own illusion,
yet, somehow, recreating itself, installing a new reality
on the canvas of life. | |

| Cosmic Trip Posted: 5/17/2008 9:09:38 PM | What madness in a full moon, what sanity remains?
What mathematical fornication dwells in the lepers den?
