love the write....you sure have a way with words! Keep on writing sweety.
|
| Ramblin.... Posted: 7/15/2008 3:21:24 PM | Even in your silence I heard your lies, as your mind whispers and your heart cries....
even in your kiss I feel your pain, for it wasn't me you danced in the rain.
Even though your gone I feel you still, deep within me, and always will!
|
| Ramblin.... Posted: 7/15/2008 3:40:09 PM | Stir not my slumber, let me dream of you, that I shall count the ways of love to thee, that I shall touch of you that silken softness, and hear lyrics of your beauty played by minstrels wandering!
Stir not my slumber, let me think of you, and when the battle is over I shall make my way home again.

| Ramblin.... Posted: 7/16/2008 2:42:36 PM | Twenty years and twenty roses, nineteen red and one white, on this day, you were born, the second daughter, the second miracle of life, and a single white rose marked your birth!
Today, that single white rose is a reminder among the others of your first cry, your first breath, your first hug, and the first time you were kissed,
and now you enjoy one of your dreams as you are off in the Limo, touring the city, your friends riding shotgun right beside you
and I have my moment to cry, tears of joy for the blessing you are in my life and always will be, you are my baby, then, now, and forever!
Happy Birthday to the most wonderful daughter in the world!

| Ramblin.... Posted: 7/16/2008 5:28:34 PM | Time has left the building only leaving the tick, tock, tocking to echo in the space between bouncing off at the strike of twelve Music to my ears But, ya say what if its a cookoo clock?.....stay with me...lol The bird will come out of its hole Chirp, chirp, chirping Sounding off its glorious sound Mellowing the echo's bounce Slightly keep'n count!!!

| Ramblin.... Posted: 7/16/2008 6:04:12 PM | Mandrake I hope you dont mind me stopn in and sokin up some of this moisture
Tick, tock Why must we all watch the clock Its gonna run And doesnt care about your vanity Or even your sanity Age is going to come No matter how fast we run There is no flipin over the glass No free pass Age Is the price we pay to be Wisdom, and love Should be the prize we seek Like crutches For the weak Your as_ is gona get old So I say , leave it be....... Live........ Love................ And grow Wise.... To understand Its quality Over quantity Is the prize

| Ramblin.... Posted: 7/16/2008 7:04:15 PM | Time Time with short passage grieves all dimensions of eternity For in our ignorance we shall be But one drop in the cosmic sea Seek that place of stately grace Where the soul shall not be effaced Then light the way for all to see For time will seize in perpetuity

| Ramblin.... Posted: 7/16/2008 9:21:40 PM | Happy Birthday, Babygirl Once a tiny pink jewel adorning a tiny quilt
eyes shining like the stars learning laughing fufilling dreams
Another passage gone through time Rearranging times laughter echos
as years pass her daddy standing guard never far
deep in his babygirl's heart.

| Ramblin.... Posted: 7/17/2008 3:04:34 AM | not watching the clock time quickly slips by waking up one night i find that i cry not out of anger or pain but the love that remains for my babes are all grown and have found their own homes
it brings such delight to my eyes when i realize thru all the struggle and pain what has remained is the joy in my heart and that i am a part of this miracle on earth and that we gave birth
both their father and me for this i agree and now realize gave them what money cannot buy
love unconditionally which has given them confidence to see life is to embrace and to be lived at their own pace respect themselves and others and the world all around thru my children this is what i have found
(aww manny...miss you!!... congrats to you and your daughter for sharing the past twenty years together... sweetheart, it only gets better and better!!)

| Manny's House Posted: 7/17/2008 3:34:23 AM | The full moon rises in mist borne hues Ranges swift cross an iron grey sky Briefly whole, she whispers to me "Can you see me? Did you chance to stop by?"
The energy's wild and the creatures all smile For there's magic there yet to behold So I'm taking myself out of this ol chair again Under her, I'm still young....nerry old
[something amazing about that ol moon I can never quite capture...but am ever grateful for**]

| Manny's House Posted: 7/17/2008 8:49:08 PM | granny...july 17
'i missed you so much' -i know granny, missed you too (i said with a twinge of guilt realizing i hadn't even thought of her while i was gone) 'and no one came to visit me' -oh....i said with irritation.. (knowing that my kids both agreed to check in on her)
(holding her hands they felt sooo cold) -ok..time for our blood pressure (i get out the cuff and put it on my wrist 122/66..nothing seems to rile me much anymore) -now it's your turn (she's is in the safety range... needn't make the phone call today)
'she is sooo smart' -who's so smart granny 'you're little girl... she's so smart and pretty'
(she continues to talk about my son and his family visiting... having lunch... olivia so well behaved (i secretly smile... my son did come thru) showing off the little family she must've felt like the belle of the ball)
-well granny i'm pooped... running on fumes here... no more gas in this tank.. gotta go
-please, i don't want you to go (her eyes are hazy but her voice still pleads knowing i had neglected her i agreed to have supper tomorrow in the dining hall....)
(satisfied she smiles and dreams of being the belle of the ball)

| Mandrake's House by the Fire Posted: 7/19/2008 6:11:33 AM | Hi Rose....love the write....such flattery!
The diabolic wizards unleashed their holy lust, a tempest fit for royalty praying, in God we trust,
The heavens split assunder by the wave of wizards hand, bringing rain, the wind and thunder and lightening cross the land.

| Mandrake's House by the Fire Posted: 7/19/2008 8:36:32 AM | Brought home from "The Naked Truth"
The problem with truth is that it is never naked, it lies , hidden in twisted colors, distorted, mangled, beyond recognition, a conspiracy of blood thirst's greed never to reveal the souls benediction,
the truth is out there
somewhere! | |

| Mandrake's House by the Fire Posted: 7/19/2008 8:38:45 AM | Brought home from "Ghosts of Past".
I am the fence post, long and worn, a singular i, dotted by the sun, my wire may be gone, but here I stand, bent, but not broken, my eyes have seen it all, the rustlers, who got away, stealing cattle and sheep by night, and those who didn't...... get away! the ghosts at the end of the rope still haunt the old oak as she stands alone in the dark of the moon, while her corpse laden branches still sway to the ground below, bearing the fruits of both, justice and injustice, and i, have seen it all, the fence post long forgotten, still lining the fields of dreams.

| Mandrake's House by the Fire Posted: 7/19/2008 3:21:15 PM | the sax man... (gary bartz quartet)
red hat, plaid jacket, light lavendar pants he greets us with song... 'bad thoughts, leave this room evil, leave this room...' he blows the sweetest sax think i smell burnt sage from backstage
we are now ready to receive magic from the blues man
he moves me grooves me tickles my soul with sensual sounds ever so sweetly he sails and then intensely he wails chills run thru my body
he puts rhythm to langston hughes' 'i've known rivers' overwhelmed i cry
he joins cables 'for heaven's sake' ethereal experience in their cathedral the vein of coltrane
so pure so spiritual touching me so deeply i weep in the presence of genuis
