I am sorry - I refuse to wear Granny Panties! There has to be a line somewhere and NO - NO Grannies for me, even, if I had to wait for ever to get a date

I think I would sooner go commando then with Granny Panties, uhh

Don't show your cleavage. Its very awkward for me when I sit down and try to be sincere and not look like a perv when I see the "girls" popping out of some shirt. Those kinda shirts are fine for later dates but they really make an awkward first date that much more awkward.

That's what Granny Panties leave! A line.

A little perfume is nice to wear. You don't wanna look to fantabulous though - he'll expect it all the time. Don't set the bar too high.

OE:
oh we will be the hit of the wedding in our matching fushcia puffy dresses!
Uh purple thank you very much. Fushcia - pfffft

Depends how much I like the guy ... if I don't want attention ... turtleneck .... if I want attention ... low top ... but ALWAYS something tight on the bottom ... and shoes/boots -- guys like shoes/boots, so make sure they are clean and sexy ...

Showing a little sholder, can be a good way of showing some skin without beeing too over the top. It is rare to see a woman with unattractive shoulders.

That probly works well for both men and women. My vest or sleeveless shirt pictures usually get higher ratings than some of my other pictures.

Ask a friend or an Ex what some of your better physical qualitys are, be sure not to get carried away covering your best side up.

I like to see a gal in Jeans. (the oldfashioned cowgirl jeans, not the ones that hang so low the pockets have to be on the legs instead of the bum) Shirts change with the activity, I agree with an earlier post that a low cut shirt is great for a third date, but it can be hard to make eye contact if I keep checking to see if a girls boobs are peeking at me. If a guy is looking for more than a single date, give him a chance to talk to your face.

If you don't like the granny panties idea - then you can always not shave your legs for a week - but you will have to wear the jeans - not the miniskirt lol.
And from my experience - different guys have different tastes, as far as what you wear for a date. And definately the choice of venue has something to do with it. Lets say you are going to the Stampede - think mini skirt might be out! LOL.

I go with a ball cap-jeans and tank top and runners, just so when i do dress up, i look really good!

I like to go as myself instead of going as a dressy person, cuz that isn't me ---------- and i want the guy to come as casual as possible!

hmm forst date, not first meet right
first date well personally i think first dae should b semi formal something classy
depending where ur goin of course
i guess yad have to have a chat with the datee as to what they were wearing
if hes wearin a suit then the girl should wear a dress
if hes wearing jeans n a tshirt well then i think anything goes

Blut, the best way for women to purge the wrong men IS to wear something flattering … because if his eyes are focused on her body all night … then HE isn’t worth a second date … in other words, if he is talking into her boobs because he can see a bit of them … then he probably isn’t saying anything interesting … so yeah … scratch and next!

go figure
never did i merely assume women put makeup on and dressed nice to look pretty and b attractive.
so now if the guy appreciates and looks at the way u did urself up hes a creep???
what kinna mentality is that from?
sheesh women ,lighten up id think at this stage in most daters lives theyd appreciate a lil appreciation and stares now n then especially if theyve had a kid or two
its called being attractive
if u think ur ugly and cant accept a compliment maybe u best stay home or sit in ur mini van n haul ur kids around
ive never ogled a woman but i have checked her out
its natural and isnt a deviant act or perverse
its completely natural for healthy ppl

"Papabear... I think OP wanted to know what YOU would want US to wear on a date... not what you would wear."

Oh, ok....well, it's gotta be a pair of Daisy Dukes with tube top with cowboy boots....cowboy hat optional

And for the record there is only 1 or 2 POFers who have seen me in a ball cap, and that's how I aim to keep it...and she said I even look good in a cap too....
....she knows flattery will get her everywhere

Yeah, I say wear something you are comfortable in and not adjusting all night.
As for staring at the girls...some of us have that happen even in a sweatshirt, so it isn't an automatic strike-out kinda thing.
Usually takes a man a couple dates to get over checking you out anyways, doesn't it?

I'm sure there's lots of guys in this thread that will be fine groomsmen! And I promise... suits only.. no skirts or speedos on them.... right guys?

Hey we could be in the 'Success Stories'! Oh I'm so excited. You don't mind living with my parents do you?

Is your parent's basement big? Cuz mine is.... and I got lots of stuff down there. Video games, comic books, all the lawn funiture.

A french maid outfit?? Hmmm... I'm sure we can fit you in somewhere at the hall. I might be stepping outta line here, but how do you feel about the whole flower girl thing??

As one of the aforementioned bridesmaids ... if by "skirts" you mean kilts, then skirts it is!

Oh and on topic .. um shoes. Shoes are good lol.

Kilts are cool... I DJ'd a wedding where the guys were in kilts. That was a pretty great time as far as weddings go. Now if I had a kilt and showed up on the first meet or first date with it... honestly.... you'd be glad you gave me the wrong description of what you were wearing.

On topic?? Hmmm oh ya. Me... I'm pretty casual, so if it's not jeans and a T then it would have to be somewhere that wasn't appropriate. For her... as long as she's comfy... but no sweats or bunny slippers. At least make it look like you made an effort. Besides.... if you wear sweats, how can I really check out your bum.
