Anthing like,

"I am looking for an honest, loving, faithful man"

Most women , If they actually found a bloke who fitted those 3 qualities, wouldnt be happy, they'd be suspicious , and immediately try to find fault with the poor bloke, or assume straight away hes lying!

You really dont need that crap. past relationships no matter how bad, are just that.. In the past! move on , and give a man a chance ffs!!

f you dont like a profile dont respond. Dont just sit here and slag em off. bit of a sad below the belt pathtic thread tbh.

wow, sorry mlwood, I thought the idea of the forums was to discuss things - didn't get the impression the topic was slagging anyone off!

Any room in that corner, puddles?

Agree with you on that one Storm chaser. The text talk is so annoying. I stopped my teenager from texting me that rubbish by refusing to reply to anything that wasn't written out properly, she soon came round

Ladies, I'm not interested in your attempts to 'explain' the profile contents - I was asked by the OP what put me off other profiles, and I answered!

My original profile listed everything I had lost from the age of five, including a white mouse (dead), a "five hundreder" conker and my self respect - not making that mistake again

Sorry for me mentioning my mother who passed away, ill refrain from doing that incase i offend anyone.. NOT
I just find most profiles a bit lame actually, if they have the slightest hint of mentalness or intellegence in abundance then i do reply... but that has to be accompanied by someone who is pleasing to my eyes... mind you i fancy Jack Black so that could be anyone

Actually I find it more hillarious reading people's "Testimonals".

"Well what can I say about..."

How about nothing and then we are all happy! :)

How many men on here have high performance sports cars?

After many months of study on this I have deduced about 1 in 4.

POF is becoming a site for obviously very wealthy men.

Odd, I noticed that a lot of them all own the same car!

I collect shoes but I am perfectly capable of buying my own ta...... I don't need or want any man's money.

Anyway, the collecting of shoes is an illness, habitual, obsessive! and anyone that has a shoe habit needs looking after, lots of TLC and a gorgeous man to stroke their hair when they have the urge!

Oooh! I tell you what really irks me.....

When someone says that anyone with nits need not bother contacting them.

Lousy nittist twits.

Other people keep dogs and cats, everyone is entitled to keep pets if they so desire, surely?

Stamp out nittism, I say!
