| Phrases that put you off someone's profile Posted: 5/8/2007 3:18:37 AM | Not so much a phrase bu when people have pics of a group of people (mainly their only pic) and dont state which ones them, Im by no means shallow i just like to know who im talking to!
'I like having fun' now i know i say on mine i like having a laugh but that to me means giggling about anythin 'having fun' to me just indicates rude things!
I hate the pics of both men and women flashing their bits, i mean leave it to the imagination! I was nervy as hell about putting a pic of my tattoo on and my mate reassured me that this was mild compared to some of the pics on here!
People that put their msn or phone numbers on their profiles or first messages. I'm sorry but that screams of desperation!
People who dont have kids but have pics of them with kids. I have no idea why people do that. I have a large family and as ive said before im chief babysitter but i dont have pics of all the kids i look after!
Erm I apologise for my morning rant I am going to have my coffee and be quiet!

and also due to the fact that its on almost EVERY female profile i've read, you can assume that we know you 'like nights out as well as a nice bottle of wine and a DVD'. SO common theres just no need typing it

| Phrases that put you off someone's profile Posted: 5/10/2007 9:56:10 AM | "restore my faith".....I'm not a soddin therapist.
"no liars or cheats"......sign of being a bit naive. Would a liar or a cheat be honest enough to admit it?
"If Carlsberg made girlfriends", "too many frogs", "Knight in shining armour"......all vastly overused and indicate a distinct lack of originality.
The other thing that always makes me smile but doesn't necessarily put me off is how may user names have the word "unique" in them. But irony always makes me chuckle.

| Phrases that put you off someone's profile Posted: 5/10/2007 12:33:46 PM | Why oh why oh why am i posting this (answers to my inbox please) The thing is, if everyday, tacky and boring phrases are not included in profiles, the potential of messages is greatly reduced. I had 'sarcasm rules' as an opener, phew!!!! got a few responses for that one (yes dears, get a life) having said that, i changed mine. Humour is a quality severely lacking in profiles, but my pet hate or i should say, what really makes me laugh is women who pout in pics........ :D Ok, so i dont have mine up here, too technical.....live with it | |

| Phrases that put you off someone's profile Posted: 5/11/2007 2:33:05 PM | What puts me off, is when someone keeps typing "probably" in every sentence!!
I know my profile is c*rap and am always changing it, and if I were someone else veiwing it probably the whole thing would put them off. Probably has.lol But I did put at the bottom of mine I'm always changing it, so come back in a week or two, it'll probably be different again! I have tried to be a tad humourous, but then I have a weird sense of humour so maybe no one else would find it as such. I do say "lol" a lot when I post on here maybe I should stop doing that. I apologise.

| Phrases that put you off someone's profile Posted: 5/12/2007 7:18:06 AM | And what is worse is people who have their boobs out, showing lots of skin and then say...not looking for intimate encounter !, are they that desperate to get noticed that they dont look good enough if they dont have a slutty pic
Text talk and really bad spelling, (mine may not be perfect but) like they missed a whole year from school...reading all of that just makes me feel that little bit less intelligent.
Anyone who describes themself as hot, sexy or attractive...who said ? you ? i really think modesty is far more attractive.
