Agree with Brightside.... - poor spelling is the biggest turn off...... Cant even be bothered to have a conversation with them.

or
1.You look stunning, would you like to chat? (you look passable, would you like to have sex)
2. I'm new to this, would you like to chat? (I've been into this for years, would you like to have sex)
3. I fancy going to a club, would you like to chat? (fancy a dirty weekend away with a stranger? The wife thinks I'm at a conference...)
4. What clubs do you go to?, Do you have Myspace/Facebook (can I stalk you? I am thinking unspeakable things right now... )

I must be desperate, because I can't think of any thing that someone put in their profile that puts me off.

So you like being ignored after you have met someone? Really? What a strange individual you are.
When the profile says looking for "Long Term" and then on the first IM chat they ask your boob size, sexual preference or better still offer to cook you a meal but only if they can do it in the nude! (ouch hot fat splashes!)

thts so kew-el, I must be lyk, ker-azee awsum!
For me, I'm put off by the entirely predictable bad spelling/grammar, and also bad profile pics. I'm not talking about judging the person's appearance, but the picture(s); four almost identical piccies taken at their desk with a webcam. Blank face towards the lens but eyes stretched towards the monitor and an inexplicably blue or green skin tone...
For Pete's sake - unless you actually ARE green it's in no way dishonest to tweak the colour balance! | |

3. crazy/mad/up for a laugh etc
