Ideas about your nickname
I love trying to use simple logic to try to figure things out. This answer might be completely wrong, but it's still fun. There was a notable major league baseball relief pitcher named Wayne Allan Granger. He played on eight different teams. He had his most successful years with the "Big Red Machine" Cincinnati Reds teams from 1969 to 1971. He was later inducted into the Cincinnati Reds hall of fame. The Big Red machine began their dominance in 1970 by winning the national league pennant and conitnued to dominate baseball for the next six years, winning two world series.. In 1969 Wayne Granger set the national league record for saves. In 1970, Granger also gave up the only grand slam ever hit by a pitcher (the opposing pitcher) in a world series game. The Reds lost that series. In 1970 you were 15 years old and in highschool . I think your friend might have known about a high profile reliever giving up a big grand slam to another pitcher in a world series game. So, my theory is this: Your friend either liked the guy who helped start the Big Red machine or he was kind of teasing you with the name (boys will be boys), because the guy choked in a very big game or he just knew Granger's name because he played for several teams and got around the league. Of course I could be way off base, because I just looked the name up on the internet and threw my theory together, because it seemed to fit the timeline. I love wild speculation! I need a hobby. | |

Well, My Dad's friend Tito, used to call me that when I was 17 , as I had a lead foot, and was in many accidents, (mostly solo) even fell asleep at the wheel once. But basically I was more careless, then anything. So when I grew up and matured, alittle.
I thought to use it in my journey through life (on-line), as I am human and make mistakes (even though I hate to)... I chose it as I am not perfect, and added 1 to the end of it to describe myself, as just one of many people who are alittle wreckless in life to pursure their dreams, goals, or destination. And yes I am a better driver, although still drive abit faster then my Angel can fly.
But I am still a Wreckless1derer, although more cautious since my '04, cycle crash.
They just don't see a two wheeler, motor or pedal.

Now sometimes I think the "Jade" part of that is leaning more towards "Jaded" in the cynical sense...
--Kind of like a Muse having a bad hair day after getting beat up somehow.

Posted: 6/4/2008 10:15:36 AM | I didnt think my screen name would need an explanation, however I have recieved a few emails where someone has asked, RUFOREAL is more a question, Are You For Real. Of course it was obvious to me , and I assumed easy enough to figure out.
Ok, now that I got that out of the way. Made me giggle when a couple of people tried to pronounce it Rooforeal...
