Posted: 6/11/2008 10:33:02 AM | ukno, the whole "what a real man is" thing is really played out. personally, i prefer to keep it black and white on this one, if ur old enough by law to considered a man, then ur a man. now on that note, id have to say there are good men and there are bad men, but a man is a man reguardless. someone stated, im tired of having to compete with daddy-- i liked that one, it was cool. personaly, what ive come to the conclusion myself after years of my -granted- young observation, that a womans definition of a real man is what she wants him to be, may not always be financial, but it is emotional, physical, and security.... but what alot of women tend to do, is once a man does something she doesnt like, or doesnt do something she wants, he isnt, or no longer is, a man.
e.i if she met a guy whos a great lay, good looking and takes care of her she'll call him a man, but once she finds out he doesnt like to go down on her, she'll eventually leave... and tell all her friends he wasnt a real man. or (no offense) the bbw who tend to state, real men like curves, or he couldnt handle all of this cause he wasnt a real man...

Is faithful, trustworthy, and can be friends with females too. Not afraid of what his friends say, puts his woman first.

Posted: 7/2/2008 1:11:32 PM | a "real man" can be labeled that to one woman and not to another cause he does or doesnt do something she might want him to do. who made of that label anyway, it seems like women are hip to the whole manly man thing alot of guys try to pull off to seem popular or respected, and have developed that term simply to damage a mans ego or confidence once shes not satisfied with him.. : women put that label on all types of guys: if he is a great father to their child, supports the family financially and emotionally, but cant get it up in bed, someone will say hes not a real man..
if the guy only dates thin or athletic woman, and doesnt want a bbw, then someone will say hes not a real man. alot of woman say things like that because they dont wanna come to the conclusion that they might be the problem instead of him, so theyll use that title cause it makes them feel better

First of all its not even stated correctly, but maybe what your trying to say is, "real" men should be spiritual. Second, people have different gods they believe in. So what, your god is the right god? Maybe their god doesn't exist in an intangible, mystic image of a holy white man(which no one looks like in the middle east, but more like in Europe) painted by Michelangelo. Or are you just saying what you said cause you think if you believe in god you'll make wholesome decisions in life, and "do the right thing". We already see how thats working out in this predominantly Christian country. And everything else you stated about a "real man" is obviously the polar opposite of the men you were just "with"(in the biblical sense) . So, in essence all you know is what you DON'T want. And from this state of mind your in, you believe a "real man" should be able to figure out what you want. Thereby making him a real man cause he could figure YOU out. So in conclusion, extremely misguided lady, what you want to say is; A real man knows what a woman wants! Especially when she doesn't. Good luck w/ that.
How bout, A real man is one who is not carried through life by his DESIRES but by his VALUES. And the same can be said for a real woman.
