Posted: 5/9/2007 6:40:16 PM | once upon a time a guy asked a girl to marry him.. she said no, he was heartbroken till he seen his golf culbs and fishing poles in the closet, he set out one morning for 18 holes then to the river for some fishing, came home at 3 am with no sound to be heard, then he knew he was happier ever after

So true!
And the bathroom stayed clean, the bed wasn't full of body hair and there was extra closet space now for important things like all the new shoes and purses and dresses!  : | |

Ya'll should just enjoy being single is it not the greatest feelin to be free all the time?
I'd have to disagree with this. Being single HAD its' merits but enough is enough. If you have ever seen the following movies you will know why love and companionship are so important to me:
- Love Actually
- The Holiday
- Catch & Release
- Life as a House
Love represented in this movies is exactly what I want for myself, futhermore, being single has lost its' shine - and I for one hope it goes away soon.

Don't answer it directly, but rather tell her she looks great in that outfit or suggest something that is more flattering, like "What about that blue sweater with that - it really sets off your eyes". Don't worry your friends won't know and she will feel better and you'll get some. It's win/win.
