I can't stand b/f's who need to make everything about them, even when YOU'RE the one going through hell... it's somehow so much WORSE for them!!!!
So on top of having the original problem, you end up with no support and the additional problem of trying to make them happy.

But I know from a past relationship I do like how I can spend MY money however I like and don't have to worry about having enough to cover for his broke ass. | |

I suppose if I weren't single, my ability to drive 2500 km in a weekend, making random stops, singing in Russian, sleeping in the car, eating one "meal" per day, and wading through mountain creeks would be somewhat curtailed. You probably wouldn't see me with a bigger grin than when I'm soggy from waterfall spray and it's 30 degrees!
Although...that "flinging undies" bit sounds amusing too... | |

Can let the bath room floor/toilet-seat stain a little yellow.
Can let the dishes stack up, before you throw them in the d/w
Let the clothes stack up before you wash them
Can come home at 3am, and no one to explain why you were out
Damage the truck, from a tree, wheeling it, and no one to b'tch about how much it will cost to repair, and no one to tell you to fix it right away.
Thats about all I can think of, lmfao.
Best to have a gf or wife, which always straightens us men up, pretty quick. Positive things about being with someone.
Someone to be completely honest with
Someone to love
Someone who lifts you up when you feel down
Someone who makes you want to do the right thing, and not say "f-it, who cares"
Someone who makes you want to go home, and have free time....with her. | |

But she's just a "stalker" ... who stops by in the middle of the night... but the last thing you need to worry about his HER!

the big one for me is when we are shopping, he is looking over ur shoulder...and don't u dare even touch anything, cause u get......"why do u need that?!?!" it's just a different block of cheese dear....geeeezzzzzeeeeeee!!!

most positive thing about being single? absofreakinglutely everything. I can get up when i please, go to bed when i please, go somewhere when i please, drop everything and go on a road trip whenever i want. i answer to NO ONE but me, myself, and I (and maybe the cops when i get pulled over for speeding). i stand on MY OWN TWO FEET, and have lived solo since i was 18, never mind the fact i have been "on my own" in a sense since i was 14. been married, but he couldn't handle the fact that i am independant and didn't depend on him for much. 
and the BEST reason for being single? you don't have to listen to the "are you pregnant yet" bull.
but i have to admit, my last relationship was quite a few years ago, and the one thing i miss is having someone to snuggle with and kiss. . . | |

That doesn't mean being single isn't enjoyable.. I'd say I like the fact that I don't have to answer to anyone. Less stress not having to tip toe around someones feelings or trying to fit into their life. | |
