I think some just get lazy. They would perfer to watch TV....stay on the computer, eat out all the time and just quit living. They feel old because they aren't moving. Some have problems some just don't care anymore. I am not seeking perfection but active. Someone who would rather go out and walk or hike or heck just move. I am very active.......was once very fat. I moved a little bit and liked it so much that I keep moving.......
And yet you're the "occasional" smoker----how healthy and fit is that?
Its a bit ironic someone ON a computer talks about being online! LOL
OP you'll find those who have once slipped into less than optimal fitness with a sudden "rebirth" into extreme fits of living healthy too soon forget their own stuggles while chastising those who are in their same once upon a time condition. It becomes somewhat hilarious listening to them preach knowing they're as likely to slip backwards soon. Maybe all that pontificating is to assure or pump up themselves?
I've enjoyed good genes and work a job that's anything but sedentary but even at my old age I'd bet my fitness and general health levels are better than most smokers no matter how active they believe they are. |
