Sandy200, wants to have a party some time soon at a place in ElJoebean called "the Bean Depot". We are going over there this afternoon to check it out, we should get there around 3/3:30. Anyone wanting to join us please do!!
Directions: Hwy 776 west. Bean Depot is the Old El Joebean Post Office, on the corner of Starkie St. and Gardner. starkie is the last street on the right, just before the bridge. It's across the street from Mystic Station.

Posted: 11/6/2007 6:07:34 AM | Well folks I don't know about ya'll but Kim, Jerry and Sandy and I all ended up at Deans South of the Border, on Sunday afternoon after visiting the Bean Depot. I can tell you one thing the Hot wings were very good. All 4 of us like them much better than Chubby'z. The atmosphere is nicer, and plenty of places to sit outside. Thurs. night they have specials on wings and long necks beers, wings are .30cents and long necks are 2$.
Too all of the Thursday night regulars see ya @ Chubby'z @ 7pm this week!

DOTTIE, BETH, Deans is a nice place, yet there are a few things to consider 1)farther for all the North Port people to drive 2) we just got to where Chubbyz is expecting us regularly, and they offered us use of half the front deck, and will let us put the Banner on the front rail so newcomers can find us. With cooler weather coming on, you might want to check out their inside accommodations, and see if they will designate space for us(outside or in!!).
See you all tommorrow night at Chubbyz, and we'll all discuss it. I'm OK with both places, just don't want to loose momentum on having the weekly mid-week get-together, by switching locations.

Thursday night with POF has become something I look forward to every week. Each week we have new people join us, and new friendships are developed. It's a great "Meet and Greet".......See you all tonight.
BELLALYNDA, is doing a great job on putting together to Luau at the Slip Knot, Nov. 20th. Jerry and I have had such a wonderful time meeting POF members and developing friendships, that we are celebrating our wedding that night, with all of you.
Thank you all for a great enviornment to do our dating, and become a well rounded couple with a circle of interesting, outgoing, and fun friends. I hope you will all take a few hours out of your workweek to join us, on the 20th.

From what Bruce has told us, the addmission to the event is to bring an unwrapped toy to the entry gate. We missed you last night at Chubbyz!!
The air was chilly, yet the company was hot!!! I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard.We have real comedians in our group. SIR PRIZE(Ken) and XVERMONTER(Beth) in particular had us all hugging our sides with laughter!! They bounced jokes back and forth, like a couple of ping-pong players playing to the death. Thank You both for the endorphins.

I really enjoyed talking to Vicki at the ABATE Booth, she is a kind natured and inviting Lady. Vicki gave us applications, and said we can mail them in....Anyone wanting more information I'm sure Bruce would be happy to help you out.
I was impressed at all the vendors and their variety of goods. I bought Jerry a warm Leather Jacket(pre-wedding gift from me!)!
The music was great, the crowd all friendly, plenty of eye candy(and a few eye sores).

Posted: 11/16/2007 6:33:33 AM | ANOTHER GREAT GET-TOGETHER AT CHUBBYZ!! Luckily it didn't get too chilly to be sittin' outside.....or it could have been the warm atmosphere surrounding our group!!
The weather report shows that it will be back up to 83 on Tuesday so the weather for the Luau should be just great!!! Hope to see you all there!!! I'm SOOOOoooo excited!
