that's what happened last Sat................we were meeting at 8pm, but a few people got there earlier and got soaked!

Posted: 1/17/2008 5:09:33 PM | Bylle, the band playing this Saturday is Vine Street Rumba Band. I listened to them at Downtown after 5 in Sarasota & didn't think they were that great. They play mostly latin music(rumba, a little samba).
I wouldn't mind going to see OMNI play on the following Saturday 1/26/08. From what i hear, they are supposed to be a great band.
After that I am going to have to wait until my schedule clears up. I have to go to jury duty--YUCK! | |

My place is too small to host a super bowl party & I only have one small tv. Bruno might have room though!
I.e. Starbucks--Maybe you should move the Saturday night gatherings there instead of at Applebee's. Don't know if you want to drink their mud at night though!. | |

Posted: 1/24/2008 7:42:01 PM | OMNI is a great band. Saturday at Sharkey's sounds like where I might head. I have some friends in from out of state and that is about the only bar on the water bar left in the area.
Hope all are fine. I am forcing myself to take time off this weekend. Maybe will see you at Sharkey's. Isn't that their commercial? What ever

Jerry and I are happy
Unfortunately the economy (construction industry)downturn has knocked us out of party scene.
We're thinking about having a party here at the house soon. Jerry's company gave him a bunch of building materials, so we've been putting it to good use. I design things, Jerry builds them, He's built a bar, cabinets.We're now working on a deck area for the BBQ and picnic table.
There's even a huge field behind us that would be great for volleyball or touch football.
Sounds like I'm talking myself into having a party!!
Love you all, miss you....I'm glad I checked in to see what's going on with P.O.F.
