Posted: 5/31/2007 12:03:55 PM | Hi Gang, it looks like there will be a handful of us at Chubbyz this evening. It is a great mid-week get together, for anyone who hasn't been ther yet.
Sunni, I'm still planning on going to the Kayaking Demo, on Sat. I haven't heard from Lynda yet. Thank you for doing the research. Anyone else going, if you will let us know we will be sure to meet up with you and enjoy the experience together.
I am still getting E-Mails about "After the party Pics", Laurene has posted that she will get it set up as soon as she has time. I will be happy to add the pics that Jerry took at both the dinner and the party, for everyone.
Fishing at the Venice Pier will be Sat late afternoon-as long as the rain holds off/of course dye-hard fishermen will show up in rain gear, and laugh it off!! I like playing in the rain...I guess it's the kid in me!! Love ya'll .....Kimmie | |

Posted: 6/1/2007 1:22:17 AM | The three Muskateers...Go Kayaking..Lynda,Sunni,Kimmie...Film at 11:00!!! Won't this be fun....at least Funneeeee!!! Jerry and Bruce will get a good laugh out of this watching us three. That digital camera Jerry and I have been learning to use, also has a setting for video, it will be a" Maiden voyage" in more ways than one.
Chubbyz was closed for re-modeling last night, we ended up at the Slip Knot.
Bruce, Jerry and I thought we saw you ridin' thru Punta Gorda on our way there!!
Ron, it was good to meet your friends, we look forward to seeing them again on Sat. Any chance you three would want to join us for the Kayaking-before we go fishing-let me know today....................any other Brave souls out there want to join us???
Are there any other activities that should be posted for this weekend?? Please write in.

The drum circle is going on later that same night in Nokomis Beach ( I think it starts at 7pm). Anybody going to that after we are done fishing?
FYI--I am not interested, but if anybody wants to go to Networking Thusday Nights at the Devil Rays game on either June 28 vs. Chicago White Sox or on July 12 vs. NY Yankees and wants FREE BEER with their admission ticket, let me know & I will give you the e-mail address on who to contact at the Devil Rays office for tickets. | |

And thanks for the offer, but I already have a ticket connection and have reservations set up for the Yankees game, with enough tickets reserved for our group. Too bad you won't join us, as I said before, you can always cheer for the opposing team, and enjoy the event with the rest of us!!! See you on the Pier-we missed you at Laurene's going away party!!
Bylle, the rain is suppose to lighten up by mid day tomm. so fishing should be great.
Yet we may have to skip the Kayaking. I hope they will re-schedule for another Demo Day!! I'm suppose to call the guy in the office at 9am for info.

Bylle, Too bad we can't download pics on this site. The visuals for those who only read these forums, and don't join in , would show them what a great time we all have when we get together!! Jerry, his Daughter and I had a great time, Thanks for inviting us!!

Posted: 6/3/2007 3:13:03 PM | Hey, Sunni, I really enjoy mango, mango in salsa, mango in frozen drinks, mango lotion, mango candles,mango trees in my Gramma's yard as a young girl!! So now we are going to have to put together a fish feast....fish grilled with Salsa, broiled fish with lemon Dill,baked in a white wine, smoked with wood chips???....Mouth watering fun!!
I'll have to get ahold of Lynda(Bellalynda), and see what she thinks of the idea, she is a great cook! She wasn't able to join us for fishing this week, yet I'll bet she will be with you next Sat.
Jerry and I will be on an Indian Reservation, in the Carolina Mountains, scattering my Grandmothers Ashes next weekend. So, Bylle will have to catch the majority of the fish to keep this local tribe of hungry hunters happy.
I'll check with our ticket agents on Monday about the White Sox Games. You can count me in on seeing one of their games. Three of my children were born in Illinois!!

Who won the biggest seaweed contest? I know Crystal won the biggest Catfish contest.
i.e. Why were those guys who had the bucket of jacks cutting them up for bait instead of eating them? Jacks are good fish to eat. | |

It started getting slippery to walk around, you'd think they would throw it back in....yet maybe it is like those restaurants where you throw the peanut shells on the ground!!

Posted: 6/4/2007 7:41:17 AM | Hey Sweet Kimmie...........I'll be in the TN/NC mountains myself next weekend. I'm hiking Mt. LeConte again. I leave Saturday morning, hike LeConte on Sunday, drive the "Tail of the Dragon" on Monday, looking at property on Tuesday and returning Wednesday evening...............WHEW..........no moss growin' under these feet next week! Laffs........sorry I didn't leave a message on the machine Friday, I'll remember the message you left on my machine tho!
Sounds like a good time was had by all on the pier. I for sure would love to hook up with ya'll some Saturday evening. Unfortunately, the next two Saturdays will not work for me, but soon after that, count me in!
