I think hot woman just have the luxury of being picky which make guys think there stuck up. SO Dianoor being up front and honest is projected as being stuck up.

Posted: 5/10/2007 10:24:10 AM | I don't know anything about materialism because my circle of female friends all have jobs and money already...maybe this is a younger generation thing? I would assume the newer the generation the more ingrained working and making your own money would be since the sexual revolution happened quite a while ago. All my generation of females asks is that you don't expect us to support you, but otherwise we could care less how much you make.
Therefore I don't get the going after money thing...
I can't speak for attractive women, but I can speak for anyone human - of course we want someone that's good looking - the problem is everyone likes something different. But naturally we want men we're attracted to, just as a lot of men want women they are attracted to.
Sounds like there were a specific couple of girls you were interested in that didn't pay attention to you. If they were good looking, then they are guilty of the same thing you are - wanting a hot date. | |

What is the first thing that gets you to walk up to a woman?! The way they look, just like its the first thing girls will look at too. Some people can be stuck up and ****y but not everyone is. Not everyone that you like will like you back. We all have different taste so if someone says your not my type, I'm not interested...say ok and move on. Hello there are plenty more fish in the sea. There is someone out there for you.

They can be.
They can be as nasty and hateful and stuck up as they want, and you'll still chase after them.
Sad isn't it? Men want all these hot women, but get mad that they don't want them back.. are you hot? Do you have a great body? You can't expect her to accept you if you're being shallow yourself!
This goes for men too, if they're hot (even if they're not) they think they're god's gift to women. Waste of time.
Find someone who's attractive to you in their own way, not just b/c they're blond, thin, well-endowed, etc. That's why there are profiles. Read about their personalities. | |

And look at the young girls these days. FAT FAT FAT... In another 25 years, a thin attractive woman will be the thing of the past. They will no longer exists...
Exactly. This is the case where I'm originally from especially. Newfoundland has one the highest (if not the highest) obesity rate in the country. On top of that theres the
fact that we dont have much of a young population to begin with, Divide that population by half (the female part), and you have the number of young attractive women available to men. The result is a feeding frenzy among guys for the few attractive women out there. Go down on George St. on a friday night and hit on someone's GF to see it in action 
2. Maybe they actually found a deeper connection with the girl than just her body.

I haven't found this to be 100% true. In fact, it has been the opposite in my experience. The better looking a guy is, the more friendly he is to different types of people (if not for dating, but just in a friendly way) because he knows he is hot and can get a variety of women.
It's these average, less than average, nerdy, etc types of guys who are obsessed with, and believe they are entitled to, Heidi Klum types because that will somehow rescue them from their mediocrity and proove to the world just how "cool" they are. I have never quite understood why straight men are so obsessed with what their buddies think or having a trophy...to show off to other men? | |

This is a very good point. Now, granted..everyones definition of attractive is probably different. But, of the guys in this thread that seem to be barking about how they want attractive women and there seems to be less and less of them....these guys aren't what I'd deem attractive myself. Well, I've had this conversation with you before haha. And I've always been Fat and all of the b/fs I've had or lovers I've had, have all been generally physically fit. Fat chicks do date men, fat chicks do sleep with men..and dammit alot of us fat chicks get hot, physically fit men. Surprise...surprise!

If one guy comes to a party with a 300 pound "BBW" and his friend comes in with an Angelina Jolie like, long legged, slim waisted, tight stomached beauty queen, the guy with the 300 pounder is gonna feel like hes gotten the short end of the stick. And yes maybe he has the "confidence" to not care what others think, but in that case "confidence" is actually complete isolation from the norms of society which he is a part. In other words, he has forgotten the wisdom that our caveman ancestors learned long ago: it is better to belong in a group and accept its ways than die alone in the wilderness.

Actually it was to further my career. But the increased chance to find someone I'm attracted to was a definite draw. I guess that makes me shallow somehow?
