Posted: 3/4/2008 3:22:44 AM | I found the site by accident. stayed in one weekend and surfing the net. found it. so tho why not. been on the site a year. and found and make some lovely friends. Even tho am not looking for anyone anymore. i stayed because like i said make some good friends and keep in touch. by popping along to the socials every now and then.

Posted: 3/4/2008 8:38:53 AM | my daughter waas a member first,she found it by looking for free dating sites,then got me to join as she thought I'd spent more than enough time on my own after my divorce 12 years ago,that was last year and I'm still here, dated a few times but were not for me,still have lots of friends that chat with me most days and from the US too,plus made one very special friend whos friendship I value dearly,if he reads this he will know who I'm talking about!!  | |

Posted: 3/4/2008 1:40:47 PM | found this site by complete accident but very glad i did as i have met some really genuine people have also been to a few fishy meets which were fantastic so if u are thinkin of goin then u should i joined pof to make new freinds and met people in a diffrent way as all my freinds are attached or married it was difficult to meet somone but its also a gd way of meetin peoplein a diffrent way

From as far back as I can remember I've always had mail buddies from all over the world but never actually met any of them. The first time I met someone off the internet was July last year and it was a fantastic experience. It was so nice to be able to develop a close 'mental' or 'spiritual' relationship with a person over the web over a period of time then go through the nerve-racking and sense-blitzing experience of meeting them  | |

Posted: 4/5/2008 3:41:02 AM | I found my last partner on a site like this and we were together for 4 years, so I decided to give the same site another go...got chatting to someone who mentioned THIS site so I joined up...and found a partner!! I had loads of dates (I was on here to meet, not to chat interminably!) and I eventually found a wonderful man whom I've been seeing now for about 8 months.
These sites DO work, perhaps those who complain about not getting replies to their messages should think about what they are writing! ...and those who ignore messages sent, that's just bad manners and ignorance! It costs nothing to say "sorry, not interested"! Or was I the only person brought up to have good manners??
Anyway, made loads of friends on here, still keep in contact with them through this site and using msn/email, totally love the forums...so I'm staying put! | |
