Wish that when I phoned my mom today that I would be able to have a conversation with her. Hopefully she will at least know who she is 'talking' to. *sigh*

I think of her daily, and miss her horribly.
If I can be a fraction of a mom to my son, that my mom was to me, then I'll be happy. My mom had hard shoes to fill, but I know she's still watching over us and guiding us along the way.

Anyway, I got in about 1/2 hour ago from the Mother's Day Walk and Run and it was fabulous.
What a great way to start the day.
Now I have to go and get my girls and we shall head out for coffee....and the card givin' will begin.
Fact is, they love me to death and I them.
Back home for Yoga, my supper, studying, prepare lunch and clothes for tomorrow, do a crossword puzzle and go to bed.
All in all................a perfect day.

I lost my mom to cancer in 2000. I miss her and think of her every day and on all the holidays.
It is pretty low key here today as the boys all live out of town and were unable to come home this year. I rented a bunch of good movies for today and will barbecue a steak for supper.  | |

thankfully i am in contact with her every day , and even when im far from her i still call her 2 to 4 times a day and bother her
i dont believe mothers should just have a day ,i believe you should cherish them everyday equally .
thats the only way someone knows they are special to you
i tried to think what it was about my mum that i found special.or what it was that made me really love being and communicating with her.
i dont know tho, its a feeling i get when im around her, i feel like im just a little boy again when im around her ,the food i grew to love all my life, were all products of her love and her time and patience. her words and councils were always in my best interests, my mum was never selfish in her advice
on mothers day i suppose i sit and try to think of reasons not to appreciate and love my mother.. i havent found one yet and i cant see any coming up in the future.
so i suppose ill just try to make her proud of me and enjoy the time we do have together . most people will have multiple partners but just one mom, thats why they are special
plus she makes aweeeeeeeeeesome perogies
