OP as for being too wet, that is NOT yer issue cause I squirt and gush and get super wet and never had a complaint about that making me too loose. So there are other problems here, like LACK OF COMMUNICATION between you 2.

I cant believe that you posted this & even more soo... I can't believe that I'm offering you advice, but I've been there & I feel for ya. So here it is...
I was in the same situation to the T. It was more of an issue that she didn't feel satisfactory to me, but anyway... One time while she was on her hands & knees while I was behind her(for a long, long time) I'd just given up & stopped moving. She took over the action(for a change) & I just held still. It was unreal how everything changed all of a sudden. It was incredible!
