Skinny dippin' season's almost here
WOO HOO!! I am so down for that, in fact I think we need to have the official POF Skinny dippin Function/Event and I will Host it!!!
As for Topless @ the Beach, naw, tis unfortunate, but we are still behind here in Canada, and haven't grown up enough to stop just thinking of breast in sexual terminology! One day it will happen, and then there will always be something else that was forbidden or taboo.. tis nature of things!

We definitely need more topless women on all beaches in BC to desensitize other people to bare breasts, even if each woman needs an escort to protect her from the culturally intolerant aka the mashers, the gropers and the moralists.
Just gimme a heads-up on which beaches are breast-tolerant. | |

Posted: 5/19/2007 12:11:23 PM | Well the invention of the camera and cell phone camera and the internet has made that almost impossible for a woman to hang on a beach topless without some person taking a pic of her and plastering all over the net, or making money off her pictures without her consent.
Makes it hard to find a good job in Canada and USA, because the religous image of moralities is still very much alive in our governmental laws and our society in the Americas.
Unfortunately, our much of society in the north americas are still very infactuated with breast as a just a sexual objects; hopefully, over time that will change. | |

Anyway, in Ontario in 1966 there was a female student at the University of Guelph, her name was Gwen Jacob who went without upper body covering and when arrested and brought to trial she fought the charge and won on the basis of discrimination. I believe the law in Ontario now says that it is legal for a woman to go without upper body cover at least at a beach. For some time after, the news services were out canvassing and found a few and I saw a few but things seemed to simmer down.
I found a site www.tera.ca (tera=Topfree Equal Rights Association) . I found it interesting that instead of calling it "bare breasted" or "topless" (What? The entire top removed? How does she breathe? Or, even worse, "What a waist?") they are calling it "topfree."
Another website which has more about Gwen Jacob is http://www.fcn.ca/Gwen.html. Amazing what you can find on the web. There is more. I found it by entering "bare breasted ontario" into dogpile, one of the search engines I use. | |

Any one know of some good spots around MapleRidge/ Mission... I don't want to drive too far..?
I for one love being naked outdoors.. Love those those hot sunny rays warming and browning my body...yummy yummy! so healthy.... so natural...
I have never been to wreck beach .. long way to drive just to get publically naked...
As I live on acerage I have my own private heaven... all I need is a lake and it would be perrrrrfect..

Remember the old saying... 'Do your own thing'? sorta along the lines of live & let live.....It's all about personal choice... as it should be. Those with a problem with topless females at the beach need to find their own 'special' beach with lots of rules...

dude. tell me you're not serious. in this day and age, would you rather she popped formula into the kid? something that's not nearly as nutritious, and with no natural antibodies in it? it was feeding time and the baby was hungry. it's not like she asked you if you wanted some in your coffee or offered you first position in line...she was just feeding the kid.

Breast feeding yay, whatever... but in a busy family resturant, where there are constantly people walking by every 30 seconds. To just pop it out and feed the kid, without trying to cover it up, in any way, or without moving to a slightly more discrete location... I'm sorry but that is just rude.
I've seen moms feed there kids under a blanket of sorts, or atleast try not to draw attention by moving out of the way. However none of that was done, and I really found it incredibly rude. | |
