| Toss an ugly or a normal Posted: 5/18/2007 5:45:56 PM | Welcome back, sweetheart!!! This thread has me in tears from laughing so hard! As if Indigo Rose, Funny Girl, Fry Lock and VeryGreenEyes could ever come up with a bad picture! Some people are just blessed with a natural beauty that can't be disguised, even when they try. The rest of us just hope for the best. My pic is normal. I'm often told it looks nothing like me. | |

| Toss an ugly or a normal Posted: 5/18/2007 6:48:27 PM | | I’ve been around about as long as you cross.. And see the same topics over and over.. I was one of the first to post on the religion forms and now I won’t go in there because of the fighting.. I change my pic but I see your point.. I think people might feel they won’t be taken as serious if they do and I feel others post stuff to puff up there egos, or feel accepted.. I like the forums and enjoy thechats | |

| Toss an ugly or a normal Posted: 5/18/2007 10:59:13 PM | My absolute worse recent photo is my active image, I think it's funny how much you can alter your profile's traffic by changing photos around a bit. I used to make a game of it but I got bored.
I love looking through the fake profiles, seeing what the "Google Image" folk write about themselves, I found that entertaining when I got bored with my other little game.

| Toss an ugly or a normal Posted: 5/18/2007 11:25:44 PM | Since I post recent pics (2/07 this go round) and have zero make-up on - just a tad of lip gloss, I am easily spotted on meet-outs.
I was on here before and the same. Recent pics, ended up on over 100 Favs lists... 99.9999% who didn't contact me and when I would delete myself off, back on they'd put me. And, still not make contact. Go figure. Also got a few stalkers, so, I totally deleted my profile, went into hiding until I reemerged recently.
What burns me up is wayyy too many of the men I've met do not look a thing like their photos. Looks aren't everything by a long shot; however, honesty is.
Oh... A Tidbit for those who find themselves in the same situation re' the Favs list. Delete yourself off every few days if contact isn't made (provided you want to delete that is) before it accumulates and gets ridiculous. I've already done it with this profile and it works very well.

I understand putting the best foot forward, hell, who wouldnt, but has anyone ever considered putting the very worst pic up? Let your ugly side be seen,
Oooh...but I tried and it was deemed "Not a human picture"!!! So I guess the guys don't care so much for a girl that has a 'Pasty face' combined with a lovely 'Wind ravaged hair do' look these days.

It's just another part of my elaborate screening process. I joined a little over a week ago and have changed my profile from dating to talk/e-mail to friends ... a lot of kooks out there ... a lot begging me to reveal myself ... who cares?? I too am really enjoying the forums ... most of my contacts have been made this way ... more for what they have to say vs what they look like ... If someone contacts me ... they had better have had something to say in a forum or I'm not interested ... To me it shows that they are interested in what is going on around them and not just out to get a bit ... As for the pictures that some post ... I tend to entertain myself by perusing them a putting titles on them ... "can you hear me now?" ... "welcome to hillbilly heaven" "I am an EMO! " etc. ... What can I say?? ... too much time on my hands!?
