You can't ever say what is the right amount of contact - messaging - phone calls etc. to capture someones interest - everyone feels differently - you have to play it individually! It's all a crap shoot and you are best not to set up stringent sets of rules to follow - for if you do, you might be missing out on 'the one' - 'cause they don't fit into your set up!

I'd like to know (from men mostly, but women too) why after weeks of emailing back and forth and "getting to know each other thru email" do some people all of a sudden stop responding?


Easy answer: They just that into you. (seems to almost be a universal answer for why folks do a lot of crap)

The conversation just dries up, nothing more to say, gone out of town, hydro out, internet cut off, comp. quit, car accident, family trouble, health problems.
There could be a thousand reasons, they have'nt ask to meet maybe they just lost interest.

You have so many restrictions on your profile, it's no wonder the emails have dried up. Try removing a few and see what happens. Message 11 has it right, take in an event and look for the look across the room. There is magic in the real thing. Music and dancing, tribal kinship, friends auditioning for family roles.
