Depends what side of the line you're on eh? hehe

I'd have written him back and let him know that I appreciate how "full of awe" he thinks my tats are, and that my friends compliment me daily on my excellent taste.

I've been known to through some zingers across the bow if their profile calls for it, but yeah, def out of line there. ;)

I have my moments, and thank you. :)

Of course if I was "that" cool I wouldn't be lurking around here now would I? hehe

And yes, happy Easter (or similar holiday if you're not quite Christian, and so inclined).

This topic still makes me laugh a little since we're all talking about different hair dyes and piercings, yet I will be eating eggs of assorted colors tomorrow. :D

I don't think it's "funny" to get an email saying I "USED" to be pretty before all the tattoo's
It's somebody going out of their way to be rude..
just my thought..

Tell them to **** off. Seriously though, if people don't like it just ignore it. Just to go out of your way to tell someone "you look pretty before the tattoos" is just a sign of stupidity.

You might as well said "You seemed ok before you opened your mouth." Stuff like this does seem to run rampant in small towns. Especially where I live... a lot of sheep.

I heard someone say today... that some people wear the story of their life through the tattoos on their skin... but we *all* have our stories tattooed on our hearts. [paraphrased]
Tattoos are very meaningful to the people who have them. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Even if it's a tattoo obtained in a drunken stupor, you have a choice to have it removed or covered with something better... or it's a momento of "remember when??"
Personally, I've been attracted to guys without tattoos the same as guys with tattoos. It's understanding that everyone needs to express themselves -- and there are many different methods in which to accomplish that goal (tattoos, art, poetry, music, volunteer service, etc. etc. etc.)
I got my tattoo at age 17 (for free... fun story), and then had it professionally redone/retouched when I was 23.
And, as far as multi-coloured hair, I love it -- although I tend to use more accepted hair colours (dark brown, red, blonde). Are these same people that are against "un-natural" hair colours also telling the bottle-blondes that there is something wrong with them? Hope not -- that's a big war to battle all by yourself. haha!
