Posted: 10/20/2007 4:27:54 PM | most of all ...sex...really good intimate sex with someone who knows me, the trust factor of being monogamous, and someone who accepts my quirks...even likes them!
I miss cuddles on the couch, sharing a good movie. Good conversation, shared jokes...companionship I guess.. someone who "gets' me and appreciates me. Someone I can appreciate.
Someone I can share my dreams and goals with... that I can let down my guard with, and who let's down theirs too.
I don't really miss a lot of the "living" together stuff though.. sleeping together is really nice sometimes (Sunday morning is my favorite.. lazy, sexy morning), but I actually sleep better alone. The day to day grind is a bit of a challenge for me and I find I get irritated easily if someone is ALWAYS there. That might be my ADD...not sure. | |

I miss having a big manly shoulder to cry on when really bad things happen. I miss having someone who can fix the loo seat when it is broken (I can put my own shelves up, but my loo seat will take a skilled person.) There are lots of things I miss about having a man around, but I'd rather forgo all of them, than be trapped in a dead end relationship. | |

Since I was in my teens I always had a boyfriend, was never without at least one until 2000 when by 12-year relationship broke up. I miss snuggling and smooching, ok sex, too but that's just part of it.
Laughing over private jokes.
Having one special person to lean on in bad times.
Celebrate with in good ones.
Who understands me and knows me better than all the rest.
And who knows they can count on me too.
Someone to cook for, spoil, do special things for.
I miss seeing that smile, that look that says I love you, without words.
Damn, now I need some chocolate.

Posted: 10/21/2007 11:17:38 AM | Mostly, just BEING with...no matter what you are doing...at the wrecking yard, driving down the highway...having coffee...and of course the "good stuff" ... but the main thing I miss is having someone that I know thinks about me and truly cares how I am, how my day went, etc.

someone who'd put up with my screaming at the tv during every football game the NFL will allow me to watch.
those are the things i miss. the cuddling i can live without, the flowery crap i can life without... its the natural budding friendship the best friend that comes with it. thats what I miss.

I always enjoyed the sex, but I think the main thing that let me go to sleep happy (or if it was a morning/midday encounter, walk away happy later) afterwards was laying there with with my arm around her, just holding her close. | |
