If I had to say in in one word, I would say the "PRESENCE"
But to expand on that..
I miss public displays of affection... that touch across the table when your out to dinner... the kiss after a nice slow dance.. cuddling on the couch with a glass of wine, just talking about nothing... pillow talk after sex... doing "couple" stuff... anything from washing the cars to going out to a show.... having my partner cuddle up to me on a cold or rainy night out.. the Intimacy! God I miss that...

I like doing things with the other person in mind: I'll get his candy because it's his favorite, I'll wear this lipstick because it's his favorite, I wish I could show him this, or I'll have to tell him I saw this when I get home he'll get a kick out of it.
Not that everything I do is like that. But, whenI was single and grocery shopping once I realized that that was one of the biggest holes in being alone. | |

I miss having that best friend that I can yack to about everything and they understand where you are coming from because they really know you. Having someone actually care about how my day is going and of course the personal intimacy. Having someone to plan things with and go places with, sure I could go alone but I like it better when I am not. You miss all that stuff.  | |
