I never talk to myself, I am usually just thinkng out loud.

I think outloud all the time. My partner and I share a large corner office and she is constantly asking me if I was talking to her. My response is ALWAYS nope just thinking OUTLOUD again lol!! I do honestly believe it helps me. But like others I do talk to the TV too I get so darn mad at those girls that should just RUN instead of sticking around to investigate!! DUH~   | |

When I was a child, my Mother told me its ok to talk to yoursef if you do not answer yourself! :) However as I grew into adulthood I learned many global mantras, for self reinforcement that have a profound impact: such as I am worthy, I am a good person, I am loved etc....a good way to talk to one's self, in my opinion!   | |

I also have some great conversations with my Keeshond/Husky mix Princess. It's great because she never disagrees with me and on ocasion gets pretty excited when certain topics come up ... like food, taking a walk, going for a ride in the car ... :-)

Posted: 6/1/2007 5:42:44 PM | This is going to sound so crazy. But today, I was thinking I'm so glad I get to live with me. I have so much fun, and I look around at people who are grumpy and miserable. Boy, I'd sure hate to be them and have to live inside them. There's no one closer to us than we are ourselves. Yes, I talk to myself a lot. And then I laugh about what I just said. Maybe I need to be committed!
