| Guys - what are major turn off's for you that we WOULDNT guess at? Posted: 8/7/2007 5:41:45 PM | dates he start sentences with things like:
1. the trouble with men is.... 2. men never.... 3. All guys want is.... 4. Men don't.... 5. If men could have babies.... 6. Why do men never.... 7. You get the picture...
I mean obviously there is something about us that draws you to us other than sex and procreation. Perhaps it is just to catch spiders and fix the car.

| Guys - what are major turn off's for you that we WOULDNT guess at? Posted: 8/7/2007 5:50:58 PM | Mentally:
1. Arrogance - claiming to KNOW what a guy really wants
2. Self-Centeredness - "It's all about me, boys!"
3. Egotistical - never saying you're wrong or always having to prove yourself right
Physically:
1. Ugly feet - if your toes are not cute, don't polish them! Wear socks &/or closed toed shoes
2. Too much perfume - STOP bathing in it! A whiff is enough already.
3. Accentuating the WRONG asset - if he's intersted in legs (like I am) then make sure you wear something that shows off your legs NOT wear a push up bra trying to impress him with your cleavage
My nickel's worth... | |

| Guys - what are major turn off's for you that we WOULDNT guess at? Posted: 8/7/2007 6:19:27 PM | 1.) Living in a fantasy world. Leave it for Belle, Fiona and the Little Mermaid. 2.) Complete ignorance. We are all ignorant from time to time. However judging everthing without actual knowledge eats at me little by little. 3.) Loud, gross smacking noises while eating (hehe) 4.) Too emotional. Bla blah bla bla blah my feelings. We all have them. I'll listen to you, but not all the time. It gets annoying. 5.) Thinking that witholding sex is punishment. As Oprah would say: You go girl. No seriously... just go :)
That's my top 5 of the day ,

Major turn off's...
Getting offended/annoyed at any little comment, I make bad jokes sometimes but I never do them out of spite or malice.
Being overly self conscious about physical contact. I like to hug, wrap my arms around my woman or kiss her exposed parts at any time that it strikes my fancy. doesn't mean I'll do indecent things in public, although that could be fun too
Mustache, I don't like my own why would I like yours?
Profiles without any useful information about the person / people who barely talk about themselves and let you do all the talking.

| Guys - what are major turn off's for you that we WOULDNT guess at? Posted: 8/7/2007 6:32:57 PM | | Anyone who claims to be open to trying new things, but then turns around and refuses to try any food that I'd whip up would be bothersome. I'm a cook at heart, and I was born in the south. I make my food spicy and it seems to bother people in the midwest... | |

| Guys - what are major turn off's for you that we WOULDNT guess at? Posted: 8/8/2007 12:36:01 AM | > but a woman who is repressed by religion/tradition...
You're really missing out, paivarinta. Church (in the most general sense of that term) is a great place to meet gullible easy horny chicks who you can be pretty sure aren't being "free" with gangs of other guys. There are other advantages, but I'll leave the joys of discovery to you. ________________
Having a profile name with any of the words "angel", "baby", "princess", or "goddess" in it is also a total non-starter.

| Guys - what are major turn off's for you that we WOULDNT guess at? Posted: 8/8/2007 12:53:30 AM | Indecisiveness - i am decisive, so anyone, not just relationsips with women, irritate the heck out of me with wiffly waffly indecision.
Contrariness - saying one thing, expecting another. Again not just women and relationships, just plain anyone who can't hold a cohesive train of thought from concept to decision and accept the outcome.
Mind Games - combining the above two. Fun times in Taho . . . . . .
I guess me personally, I don't think like a woman (sweeping generalist statement 101), i think like me (a man), and therefore expect to interpret responses that are given the way I would interpret I would have meant them.

| Guys - what are major turn off's for you that we WOULDNT guess at? Posted: 8/8/2007 1:15:51 AM | Assuming that every male wants to have sex with you so you develop an attitude when they're polite or respectful
well said
Just because you have a vagina doesnt mean every man wants to get at it - dont flatter yourself that much
Anyone over size 8/10, what you talking about!! For gods sake! You know the actual UK average dress size is a 16! You need to get with the programme
Yes we know -- THIS MEANS OBESITY - its only "average " because so many are obese

| Guys - what are major turn off's for you that we WOULDNT guess at? Posted: 8/9/2007 11:23:36 AM | (these are in no real particular order, and really only apply to me I suppose)
#1 Poor communication skills --AKA Women who "hint" too much and don't mean what they say and say what they mean.
(^^This is by far one of my pet peeves.^^)
#2 Women who believe guys can read minds (or should be able to) -- AKA The "Oohh I don't knoow.." Women. Sure it happens to some of us, we honestly don't know what we want. Alot of women truly seems to act as if we should be able to read minds. This also leads back into #1 a bit.
#3 Women who lie to "avoid hurting people's feelings" We're adults here people. Please show some respect and act like it.
#4 Hypocrites --- such as
--"I am looking for a man with a job and vehicle and his own place"........ yet they live at home (or with their sister), unemployed and don't have a car.
--"When it comes to a man I believe its what's on the inside that counts"......yet won't even consider a guy shorter than or as tall as them
-- (one I always giggle at) "I hate it when a man takes longer than me to get ready..."
#5 Constant use of conflicting statements --such as
-I am a very independant women.........I'd like for a guy to treat me like a gentlemen, get the door for me, take me out to dinner ect...
#6 Talks about previous men in their lives constantly (really if they are that worth talking about, please GO BACK TO THEM)
#7 Overly Religious (sorry if I offend anyone here)
#8 "I LIKE TO TALK IN ALL CAPS, JUST INCASE YOU CAN'T SEE ME WELL ENOUGH!" (applies to online only, take your elbow off the shift key)
#9 Narrowmindedness | |

| Guys - what are major turn off's for you that we WOULDNT guess at? Posted: 8/9/2007 1:00:33 PM | Recalling via phone or in person a conversation to tell me that I said something that offended her, when she could have told me then and there. E.G., contributing to an environment where I may feel I have to screen every word before it leaves my lips.

| Guys - what are major turn off's for you that we WOULDNT guess at? Posted: 8/9/2007 8:47:44 PM | Dented Knight & anyone else that might have expressed a similar sentiment, that I missed. Having a preference is not being shallow. If I don't like vanilla ice cream & I choose not to have ice cream because there is only vanilla, is that shallow? No, it's wanting what I want. I can't help it if vanilla ice cream turns me off & these guys can't help it if bigger girls turn them off. Leave them alone & find one that likes vanilla! | |

| Guys - what are major turn off's for you that we WOULDNT guess at? Posted: 8/9/2007 8:59:44 PM | I hate it when I ask a girl what she wants to eat and then she tells me she likes anything and for me to pick. From there I would usually pick sushi or somting take her to the resturant and then find out that she does not like it.
DONT SAY ANYTHING IF THATS NOT WHAT YOU MEAN.
Also I can't stand taking a girl to a really nice steak house and she orders it well done. I think that it shows a lack of class personaly, it would be the same as having no table manners.

| Guys - what are major turn off's for you that we WOULDNT guess at? Posted: 8/9/2007 10:49:01 PM | 1. Chews with her mouth open or talks with food in her mouth. Yuck! 2. Drinks often, or intentionally gets drunk. That was silly when we were young, and is inexplicable now. 3. The deal killer for me: treats waitstaff or salespeople poorly. Just because someone works retail and organizes the racks after shoppers have pawed through the merchandise does not mean that it is OK to dump stuff where-ever because someone will put it back where it belongs. It used to just irk me when I was with a lady that would do that; now I've come to see that it often indicates an arrogance or disdain for others that I find very unappealing.
There are others, but they were well covered in previous posts.
