I notice stuff like that because my mom used to make me paint her toenails when I was a little kid. I've been cursed with an eye for detail when it comes to nails. | |

Posted: 8/22/2008 7:59:38 PM | I think women with long-ish nails are gorgeous. Yeah, perhaps I'm fickle , but as I guess the thread's motivations, there's a lot you can tell from a woman's nails. For instance, colour, length, condition etc. Actually the last one applies to us men too .
A clear coat of gloss over a woman's real nails is subtle, natural and quite a turn-on in my opinion . | |

Posted: 8/22/2008 9:00:34 PM | I always have my nails kept trimmed and fairly tidy/clean and unpainted, for various reasons, including hygiene. Also I think its cos of the fact that I used to play the piano, so the habit of keeping my nails trimmed and tidy has stayed. I'd hate it if I were to grow long nails and keep them long just because a guy liked them. They'd be so annoying and would require more effort than I'd care to put in. But most of the men I've met prefer the trimmed kind so its been fine in my case.
I especially hate those "French" manicures with 1-2 inch long nails...even worse when they're fake...yuck. I admit on the odd occasion I'd grow them out just a bit, and paint them in red, always red cos its my favourite colour. | |

The two colors that turn me off are red and burgundy. There's this thing that I've just started noticing and that's sorta like a star or flower in the corner of the woman's nails. Nice touch. | |

Posted: 12/15/2008 7:38:13 PM | I keep my nails long. The only problem is they are very thin so I have to be careful. If I am going on a date or to an event I will get them done. Long nails just make womens hands look more feminine. Too long can look trashy though. JMO

too long and anal play can be a problem 
and my fingernails and toenails always match.
I don't pay to get them done very often.....but being an artist.....you will see some very creative paint jobs on my nails!
Right now they are Ho Red w/ a snowflake painted on each pinky nail

I've seen women take off their fake nails and they are weak and look diseased. So yeah, that's really sexy. Besides, fake nails are so 1980s. I picture those that live in trailers, with 3 inch roots chewing gum. Yeah, that's hot. | |

I, too, have seen women with their fake nails off and in those instances their real nails were strong and healthy (and mine are the same) and these women attend the same spa I do. My nails sare not diseased and germy whatsoever. The spa I attend is very clean and sanitary and the lady who operates it is licensed and educated in her practice. Obviously the real nails you saw sans fake nails were weak and diseased because the spas those women attended were not clean and sanitary and the individuals operating those salons were perhaps not licensed and obviously had no clue what they were doing.
