| Why Does It Seem That EVERYONE On This Site Rides Motorcycles??? Posted: 6/6/2008 2:51:09 PM | I've been on or around bikes since before I could walk. My Dad is 88, he doesn't ride much anymore, but he still has his Vincent and wrenches it often, just to stay close. I ride daily. I'm finally breaking down and getting a car for work. I feel alive riding, almost part of where I am riding through. I don't have any tats. I don't belong to a gang. I still stop if I see another biker on the side of the road. But these days when I stop, it's 50/50 if I'm going to get attitude. My new bike is a R1200R. I am looking at a '68 Triumph and a '73 Norton as a second bike. (if I can talk myself out of getting a car. lol)
My 2 cents. | |

There is nothing like getting on your bike after a bad day and in 5 min all the stress is gone.
It is not a phase. You either love it or you don't.
Bikers are like boaters a very close friendly environment.
How many people talk to you at Timmies in your car lol
The gas is cheap much cheaper than running your car.
On a bike there is no destination there is only the journey.
