I don't really "inspect" teeth, but if they don't strike me as nice, white, and straight on first glance, it's a turn off.

Extremely yellow teeth, anything unhealthy
and naturally repellant.
That's nice of you to have the thought to check out
other things about a man, and think that if the
teeth need improving you would urge him to.
I cannot say that I would (maybe i would?)

Croocked mangled teeth.....or a gap, lil bit of a turn-off.

If she has everything else going for her, teeth can always get fixed.

Should be the person not the teeth, I had a denture aged 9 due to an accident, and a full set age 16 due to mother not knowing she was pregnant and aged 43, so took all the calcium, unless I tell anyone they are unaware that my teeth are false

I dated a guy who had never seen a dentist and didnt believe in brushing them either..UUUGGG! I can see if one grows up with parents that dont enforce the every 6 month cleaning or cant afford braces..but he had insurance and made good money as an adult..no reason not to go....It is just sad when he wanted a kiss in the morning..or really anytime and i just kept thinking..damn..i know he hasnt brushed his teeth in weeks!! sorry..i couldnt get passed that and I am not going to be a mommy and nag..i did explain to him my health concerns with it and the bad breath...but that is all one can do....

I actually met someone last night who was missing 4 teeth in the front...the others were out of place and yellow and nasty! Now, i smoked for 18 years...there are options to whiten teeth and braces to get them straight...also dentists offer all sorts of payments plans..again this was someone that could afford the dental care....People just dont understand the serious infections that poor hygiene can lead to...blood infections and all...not to mention..i dont want to stick my tongue in your mouth if there are black, missing, rotting, or stinky teeth!!

not close at all, but then that is because mine are bad.Was from not taking care of them when I was younger.I take care of them now, but I have frozen with getting them fixxed. The more research i do on the best way to fix them, the more stuff i find that makes me wonder if it is better to just leave them alone.

Yes I do look at the teeth: Bad teeth is a put off and could mean any number of issues:
missing teeth: They never care for their teeth and have hygiene issues, that may not be just with teeth, uh hm
discolored green, yellow, gray teeth: no daily hygiene, heavy smokers or reformed heroin junky (that'll rot teeth)
wasted, crooked teeth: have a dental or gum health problem uncared for.

And of course, apart from the poor appearance of the smile, there's the related bad breath and bad tasting kisses, yuk.

I am fasciniated with nice teeth---preferably the originals, but if the teeth need some work, get it done, not only is it better for the individual for eating etc, I just think it makes a whole person's appearance far much better, not that I am looking for a "10" I just think teeth say a lot about someone---anyway, that is what I notice first.....

Not really close, but it's nice to see someone who takes care of their teeth.

If their teeth makes their tongue look like it's in jail, then yeah I'm probably hitting the door or if they have the summer teeth, you know some are yellow, some are green, some are missing then I'm out. Big turnoff for me.

Well I've struggled all my life with an overbite...has not stopped me from having lots of boyfriends, people attracted to me and if anything, always a double look. because of other attractive attributes.......but at the end of the day does it matter.....HELL YES....i know I've always been judged because of my smile......buy ya know what.....not everyone in life is handed the same deal and has the luxury of a dentist..to some it is non existent in their life, so in my opinion, if you can't see past it....your missing out....which is why i'm probably still single....lol

Well I don't date smokers so that rules out yellow teeth :P
As far as looking, one time I noticed that a girl I was dating had not brushed her teeth. It was weird because she normally does, I would latter find out she was seeing another guy and had slept over at his place that night and had not gone home, but changed into a spare set of cloths she had in her car so I would not notice.
Some times it helps to be observant....that is if you are not blinded by love....or what ever passes for it in this day of age.

I am glad to see that this is an issue for a lot of other people too. It's very hard when the everything else is just great, but you just can't get past the fact that someone's teeth gross you out.

I don't mind crooked ones. Everyone can't afford braces. But disgusting rotten ones are another story.

So long as one's teeth aren't openly rotting or falling out of one's mouth, it is not incredibly important.

I got veneers to fix my teeth in January.

My dentist should have recommended braces when I was growing up, but he never did. My teeth weren't awful, but they weren't great either. I guess either people have perfect teeth or bad teeth - no real inbetween.

I don't look for perfection myself, but I do look to make sure there is proper clearance lol

I hate fat women.

I'm not, like, totally vain or something but I think it has a lot to do with their character. What, can they not afford a gym membership? Their work doesn't cover it?

It's a hygiene issue, too. Fat women obviously smell. What, they can't go for a quick 30min run once a day? They must be lazy, too.

I used to be really fat, too. Now I'm not, I think it's totally cool to hate fat women. I totally understand what they went through and now it's time to make fun of them for what I used to be.

Their fatness affects our relationship. I don't like hugging fat women. I don't like the sex. Obviously without those their character is completely invalidated.

My woman must be perfect; size 0, supermodel figure and DD boobs to boot.

Even as a joke, I know that first line touched a nerve with a few women here. Even guys. Now that you've felt that shitty feeling for even a split second, I want you to think about that the next time you meet someone.

False teeth are ok, only if you get your best friends opinion FIRST.... some get BIGGER teeth no no.

teeth play an improtant part in mate choosing mostly because subconscienslyyour looking for a potential genetic donor and of course you want a child with strong teeth .unfortunatly i have screwed up teeth...mostly a genetic thing and i grew up pretty poor ....but luckly im on the road to getting them fixed...it'll cost a bundle but in the end it'll be worth it

Well sinceI had braces and my teeth are gorgeous I would be a little turned off if my guy had ugly teeth but I would get over it if he had a great personality and treated me good.

I used to try to get in there with the inspection mirror but I got punched a couple of times.
Now I just give her one of those red dye tablets the dentists use (I tell her it's a Smartie). If she looks like a vampire after a meal, I usually call it a day.
