| The 22 towns with the worst names... Posted: 10/18/2008 4:08:44 AM | There is a small village called North Piddle in Worcestershire, which I have driven past when desperately in need of a pee and contemplated. Standing by the sign calculating North and relieving myself. After all if the old bill knicked me I could say I was just just following directions. Boom boom!
Giggleswick always brings a smile. Often fancied chasing the Ladies in Goosey, Oxfordshire. Ooh! and my fave never been driving past this one with my son's yet! Titson Cornwall!
Oh the joys of being a travelling salesman in the UK! Goccy

Hey what happened to Pennsylvania? Come and visit Intercourse, Pa. just down the road from Paradise, Pa. which in turn leads to Blue Ball, Pa. Yup Lancaster County has it all....... I didn't read through all the pages, I started getting cross eyed at three...but this post is right, Lancaster County PA has them all.... Bird in Hand is one of them...people, this is Pennsylvania Dutch country, you know, no photographs, no colors but black and white for clothes, no motor vehicles, strict religious practice... while passing through Intercourse on your way to Paradise...unless you chose the scenic route through Bird In Hand! Religion cracks me up sometimes....but then, this would be the wrong forum for that. sry

Just wondering if Hell freezes over??? Should I be worried at this point???
There's a famous (er, infamous) picture of a green interstate sign, with icicles hanging off of it, with only the town's name. Yep, boys and girls, Hell does freeze over...every year!

There's also a bumpersticker out that states "I've been to hell (small print, Michigan) and back, and loved it".
From what I understand, the small town denizens consider it one big joke and keep on laughing. Oh, and sell crap making fun of it.
