| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 6/5/2005 4:53:31 AM | Hey, Sorry it took me so long to reply. Has anyone thought about a get together at FT. Desoto Beach? they have grills and everything there! Plus the beach and trees for cover if you want to get out of the sun for awhile. | |

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 6/11/2005 10:19:54 AM | | Keep me informed about the date and I'll do my best to be there. Do we really HAVE to wear bathing suits? That stinks. In the future let's plan something at a Nudist Resort. I have a membership at Lake Como in Lutz. If enough people are interested, I can look into arranging an event there before the summer ends. Fun in the sun, yay! | |

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 6/13/2005 7:59:54 PM | | lastgypsy If you like, there's a beautiful new park in Largo, Largo Central Park, the new library's there, plenty of parking. It really is nice someone would just have to call and reserve some shelters. A singles group had a picnic in Ft. DeSoto over Memorial Day and it was everyone just bring your own thing. That might work out best, since if someone is bring soda and they don't show up, you can get screwed. Whatever, I'm sure we'll figure it out. Just let me know what you want me to do and I have you saved to favorites, so if I don't hear from you i'll get intouch with you soon, okie dokie? | |

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 6/14/2005 3:31:48 AM | Hmmm. Sounds like something I'd like to get involved in.
If anyone has kids, Howard Park in Tarpon Springs is a great location. Love the facilities there, especially the beach!
If anyone is interested in a more grown-up atmosphere, I have a few ideas there, as well.
Sincerely, Mitch | |

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 6/14/2005 7:31:59 PM | | I was thinking about the kid thing myself. I am ok with kids coming, but others may not. Tell me what ya all think. Howard Park is nice. I have been there and they do have a beach and I don't think it cost anything to park there either. So hows everyone feeling about the 2nd weekend in July????? | |

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 6/15/2005 2:39:36 AM | You're right. Howard Park has great playground facilities, and the beach is beautiful. It's also an island with a causeway, and the water on the back end is totally calm, so it's perfect for the kids.
Howard Park is also great if it's just adults. The park closes at sunset, so if everyone wants to continue the fun, the sponge docks aren't too far away. Did that a couple of weeks ago where we watched the sunset, then went for some Pita Bread and Greek Desserts.

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 6/15/2005 3:20:59 PM | I used to run a singles group in the Brandon area. We did a Channelside/Ybor City night in August of 2003 that got pretty crazy. Just look at my profile and you'll see a pic of me in foam. That was from the foam party at Masquerade that night. CRAZY!

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 6/15/2005 11:01:02 PM | Also, I was going to mention that Ft. DeSoto this year has been ranked as the NUMBER ONE beach in the United States (Hawaii included).
It is a good location, and lots of fun for kids.
Sincerely, Mitch | |

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 6/18/2005 7:52:38 AM | | Desoto park would be much better for those of us that live south of Tampa (Sarasota to Bradenton area). I think there is probally a few people that would join in if it was held at Desoto because it's only about 45 min away, compared to what could be a 2 hour trek to Tarpon Springs. No matter where you live in the Tampa Bay area, Desoto Park is no more than an hour drive. The purpose of this party is to get as many people on this web site to attend and have a good time. I think having it at Desoto would do that. So, come on you people in Sarasota and Bradenton area (Port Charlotte and Venice you are welcome also) lets hear what you have to say. | |

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 6/18/2005 9:32:36 AM | | OK, here's my 2 cents, both parks are great, both Ft. Desoto and Fred Howard Park. Lastgypsy has the right idea, besides if the location keeps changing, people will lose interest. I say Fred Howard should be the place. No offense but if it is too far for sarasota/bradenton then maybe those who live in that area may want to attend a get together a little closer to home. | |
