Posted: 7/9/2005 10:59:46 AM | | OK perhaps I was a little premature in my celebrating.... Got a tornado warning in effect for Pinellas and Hillsborough and I'm new to this Florida storm thing... I'm not venturing out there any time soon :) Maybe we can set up another....take the responsibility off of gypsy though cause she did her thing and I'm guessing it was pretty stressful setting it up. We'll work together on it :) Everyone have a safe, fun day indoors! | |

If you guys want I can try to find an indoor place to do something. The weather here in the summer is too unpredictable. I know of a karaoke bar that has an outdoor patio, don't know if it's covered or not, but that might be an idea, if anyone is interested. | |

Anyway, I was there rain, sleet or snow and none the worse for ware. LOL JT showed up to, have to give him credit, all the way from clearwater!!! My mother lost her roof from the tornado this morning and I had to be there and comfort her--she's ok though, thank god for that--ma is precious, only a few years left, so I spend time with her as much as I can, anyway hope we can set up another event soon--that would be nice! and lastgypsy--thanx so much for trying hard to set this up, I feel so bad the storm has ruined it, so next time it will be better sweetie! all of you have a safe and good weekend! Yeah, I got there about 1:30 and there was noone there. when I left around 3:15 the only one who made it was JT so me and the bird hung out and drank a beer, the bird didn't have much to say though, that was the big excitment for the day. | |

I think the same place would be good, but we can't be scared to get a little wet this time. Afterall we will be at a BEACH/park and it is hurricane season until Nov. so keep an umbrella w/ you or something. | |

Posted: 7/10/2005 9:42:20 AM | I think we should reschedule... Howard Park is fine with me... it's a nice place, plus we do get a "shelter". Provided there are no tornado warnings for Palm Harbor again, I'll be there. We don't have tornados in Boston, we have whimpy little hurricanes that after crushing FL, by the time they get to us, it's a little rain and some kite flying wind :) So I had to feel out the first one. So what's a good day for everyone? I don't work LOL so any day is good for me! Prolly Saturday or Sunday for everyone.... so let's take a poll..... post Saturday if you would rather a Saturday, post Sunday if you would... you get it! We'll count em up, majority rules. Book the shelter for like July 23 or 24th?? What do ya say gang? | |

H. park is by now, you can bring what you want to drink or eat and I'm sure someone can wrestle up a boombox of some kind. The other thing to consider, if anyone has a child and wants to attend, the park is a better atmosphere. LET'S LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE. Oh, I almost forgot, boston I don't suck but I hope you do, oops did I just say that. J/K boston, but I couldn't let that one go unanswered | |

Posted: 7/11/2005 3:49:46 PM | | Personally I like the Bar on top of the Pier (I can't remember it's name, to many beers) It has a huge patio area, a great view of the city, Live bands, and the restaurant aint to bad either. Also, for those of you bringing kids, they are welcome and there is all kinds of stuff going on the other floors to keep them busy. I'm not sure if you can make reservations. Anyway, that's my two cents, what do the rest of ya think ? | |
