| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 7/12/2005 4:03:05 PM | I don't care if it is the 23rd really.. I just want someone who knows the area a little to make a decision.. I think that gypse did a great job organizing the first one.. and I am sure it was stressful. I was planning on going, if my roof of my apt didn't pick that weekend to leak and flood my living room..
If the 23rd isn't good for you.. then the 30th.. I am sure every weekend has someone it isn't good for.. but, since you have been posting, you probably should be one of the ones there.

I can't make the 23rd but I will make one of these things. The Florida forums are still kinda new, so I am sure over time there will be more people and more dates.
Have a great day yall. | |

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 7/13/2005 11:34:48 AM | NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NO WAY HE IS A TRAITOR lol Michael CLAYTON BABY our ticket to the superbowl, if he only had a quarterback I still have a DILFER #12 in the old Orange colors. I had a Vinnie one up untill about a year ago when it fell apart. I have been a fan since I moved here in 85. I was one of those people you would see in the endzone when the old Tampa stadium was half full, or filled with Bears or Packers fans | |

But Keenan USED to be no. 80 didn't he?? damn, I had the roster practically memorized a few years ago....yes, Clayton is hot stuff, fast and hands like velcro. Hard to believe it was his rookie year. I know he got an award, can't remember what it was, he should have got Rookie of the Year!! Yes, obi wan, help us....Clayton is our only hope!! I've only been watching football the last 6 or so years, but I'm into it BIGTIME!! Oh and I agree about McCardell, I was glad we cut him loose, I thought that was SO bad for team and fan morale. I think he thought a little too much of himself, we don't miss him!

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 7/13/2005 11:50:26 AM | To be honest
I hope the Bucs go into a four or five year slide so that the average person who dosent want to spend 4 grand on season tickets can go to the games again.
It's going to be an interesting season, we will see if Glazier is going to focus on Manchester United , or if he is going to continue with the bucs.

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 7/13/2005 11:56:06 AM | JT Oh the Manchester deal went through then...He's quite the astute businessman, but he's tripled or more the value of the Bucs he won't let them slide like Culverhouse did. In other words, the Glaziers won't neglect the Bucs, it's still too big of an investment, an NFL team ain't a hot dog stand!!! hahaha I'm not happy about the ticket prices but at least I can dance topless or whore myself out for game tickets.....haha that is a BIG COMPLETE JOKE!!!! I do manage to usually get to one game a year. If I really did put out, I probably could get season tickets....wow, I'm in a naughty mood today. Sorry I'm usually much more tame! I wouldn't be surprised if the Glaziers aren't shopping for a buyer for the Bucs as we speak or will after the end of this season. I don't see us doing great, we still have too many problems that haven't been addressed and I think a lot more of it is the COACHING STAFF..I gotta get back to work. More Bucs talk later! | |

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 7/13/2005 3:31:29 PM | | Bucsgirl and JT you two know your stuff about football, but can we get back to the subject of a get together. I say the Pier on the 30th at 12pm.... All in favor? Go SKINS! Joe will lead us back to the promised land (or die trying) God I miss football. | |

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 7/13/2005 3:55:39 PM | | I mean Joe Gibbs. I grew up in Northern Virginia (Washington DC area)and have always been a Redskin fan. I like the Bucs, but no matter how hard I have tried, nothing can replace my Skins. | |

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 7/13/2005 4:04:26 PM | | The problem with the Bucs is not that their personnel has not improved, it's that the other teams that they have to play twice (Falcons, and Panthers) have really improved their rosters, and in the case of the Falcons and Panthers they are really young. I'm with JT, I went to old tampa stadium when you could walk up and find a great seat, now it's almost impossible to get a ticket. | |

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 7/14/2005 5:54:15 AM | | woodu I remember the game later in the season when Tampa Bay SHUT OUT Atlanta, don't remember the score but it was something to zero! Last season was screwy as hell. We played like we weren't even the same team week to week. Rich McKay will be a valuable addition to Atlanta, and both teams are well coached. Jim Mora (i think) for Atlanta and is it Fox that coaches the Panthers, anyway, they don't have a bunch of necessarily "star" talent, but I think the coaching is solid. | |

| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 7/14/2005 3:21:44 PM | | Pier ??? what ?? wheres that??? either way , unfortunately just like previous suggestion that some wont be able to make it .,.. I cant make it then ,,, I will be working at that time.....23rd daytime was perfect but oh well.... post what is for sure if anyone can figure that out... | |
|
| looking to set up a POF get together in TampaBay Area Posted: 7/14/2005 5:30:53 PM | | The Pier is located downtown St. Pete. It's fairly easy to get to. Take 275 until you see the downtown 4th street exit and get off. You can't miss it, also, if you are working does not mean you can't come. The place is open until I think 3am, so when you get off from work, there will still be time to come. In your case Babysis, you can come down McMullen Booth or Us 19 (whichever one you dare drive on) and jump on 275, It sould not take you more than 1 hour (come on, we are worth a 1 hour drive). To Bucsgirl, I like the Bucs, but I'm sorry to say the Bucs might be headed for a few years of loosing. It's not that they are that bad, it's that the competion is alot better. The Panthers last year was destroyed almost by injury, they played alot of young guys that had no experience and they still almost made the playoffs. This year, the guys that were injuryed last year are back healthy, plus the young guys that had to play last year have experience, plus you throw in the draft, and they have more depth than almost any team in the league, and more than anything that's what wins you games. Expericenced depth. We can talk later, but I think you get the picture. | |
