Actually, that's the purpose of it. If you bathe regularly, your 'personal odor' should be a turnon to the opposite sex.

You don't even LIKE oral sex. So maybe you only get a small whiff of that stink from your vantage point. For people like myself who like to spend 30-45 minutes dining on genitals, a little (or a lot) less hair is definitely a GOOD thing. Don't worry, even without ridiculous amounts of hair around it, it still smells like a c0ck. | |

IMO, if a relationship is what it should be, our willingness to change our "hidden from the public" hair style for the sake of our SO is an absolute no brainer. If your pubies are more important to you than your partner, then find you another partner!

I have just been reading this thread & laughing as well as seen the serious points in it.
1st off as someone pointed out here shaving / trimming your sexual organ does not make you any less of a man then any other man out there but in fact makes your a smart man cause it shows a woman ( or man if your that way  ) that you take care of yourself & that goes a long way with alot of peaple men or woman. It also gurentee's you are going to get oral that is IF you also make shure to be washed & cleaned down there too daily ... rememeber women don't like stinky dinky !! 
Other advantages of trimming / shaving bald are:
- less body odor/sweat to remain down there to make it unpleasant
- less time for maintance
- cooler feeling & also cause of less heat down there increases sperm count/production that is if your trying to have kids.
Now for peaple or women whom don't think men should have body hair I would like to tell you that sometimes it is nice on a person ..... BUT if you are unfortunate enought to have alot of bodyhair totaly removing it is NOT a option. I had a friend whom has his gf at the time shave his back for him thinkin it would make it cooler in the summer & he said all it did was make those 2-3 months of summer more horrible as it grew back out over that time. I felt sorry for him when he told me this & never wished to ever have it done to me if my back ever got bad.
Now some may think this is gross but it makes sence ... if your a guy & have alot of armpit hair trimming / shaving it can be a godsent cause it decreases your armpit odor from failing on you & increases the least amount of times you will need to keep puttin it on as it will last you longer.

And I completely understand. I think in this day and age we're all expected to look like porn stars with a pubic region like that of a prepubescent child.

no big deal to me in any way, shaved, close trim, moderate bush.
but a huge hairy jungle CAN be a bit of a turnoff! (esp. if you, like me, enjoys giving oral sex)
I think this could be largely a generational/trend thing too.. years ago, in the 1970's, 1980's a big bush/muff was the norm.
then it became more fashionable to trim 'em down tight..then to shave..
maybe Britney Spears, Paris & Lindsay helped start it; it's now apparently 'fashionable' to wear no undies and flash your coozie for the photographers?
looks so much better in the morning paper shaved clean I suppose..?
it still seems much more popular amongst women than men; though I hear that shaving the pubes can help a smaller guy appear 'larger'.
not into the stubble down there myself; i think it's a matter of personal preference & comfort.

Nope. Girls were doing it more than 10 years ago. Almost every woman I've been with was already shaved when I met her. A few of them I had to do it myself, but it seems to be the 'norm' now.

personally i think its part of hygeine to trim and shave certain sweaty stinky parts
personally if the female im with doesnt at the least trim it and shave it in the right spots im not even gonna go there
i dont blame any woman for not wanting to go there if i dont trim either
i evn trim armpit hairs as a big mass of wispy stinky pit hairs is a definate distraction plus it is a hell of a thing to brush
like anything if u just refuse to keep it up or trim n keep it tidy like your head hair or facial hair it will become gross and unappealing
it isnt feminine to have ome personal hygiene or pride in yourself men its basic class in the end | |

By saying that your basically saying your going to have a good moan - but we have to agree with you. But man, i bloody well dont.
A man should look after himself - pubic hair is discusting to look at very unhygienic and does nobody any favours. If you think to be macho you have to have a pompom amount of hair than your very much mistaken. And i cant blaime the chick going cos she didnt wanna pick hair out of her teeth for months.
The dog is a totally different subject and you should keep that if thats what you want. Personally, i can't date somebody with a dog - i have a phobia of them - dont take the piss. | |

Recently, my GF made a very polite request for a little more diligence in the manscaping department, saying that it would be rewarded tenfold. "Nymphs are more apt to frolick on a closely clipped lawn" was the gist of the convo....
I almost broke my neck, tripping over the dog, on my headlong dash for the trimmer/etc.

Demands get an immediate negative response. Otherwise, the demands never end. I would have trimmed up had she been more diplomatic in her request. She was a pain in the ass and I am glad she's gone.
And, in my life I have learned to avoid women who refer to themselves as "goddess" or "princess." They are just way too high maintenance and treat men like servants. | |

An ex g/f of mine had WAY too much pubic hair. For a long time, I tried everything to convince her to shave or at least trim a little, so that it didn't look like Jimmy Walker's head was sticking out of her beaver!!
One day, she said, "fine, if I have to, you do too". I thought, well, small sacrifice!! She shaved and so did I. That was a couple years ago, and I gotta say, I still shave on a regular basis. It just looks and feels better. And for a guy like me who enjoys having his balls licked, women are way more into that with a smooth bag than one with a rain forest on it!!
I say to all men who are considering this: DO IT!! You'll thank yourself and so will your partner. Not to mention much more attention will be paid to your balls.
And since I've been shaving my pubes, I've never seen a curly hair in the tub or on the toilet - it's a win-win!! | |
