But shallowness is shown by not appreciating & accepting all people we come into contact with on a day to day basis or through the years big,small,fit,large,tall,overweight,whatever... Im not saying you have to sleep with an overweight/large woman....to each his own..But dont expect someone to accept you are as you are but in return you expect perfection or have a preference in what others should look like. A bit double standard if you ask me...lol...But then again I could be here arguing the point forever...Its a grey area, to some its black and white. Some people are militant in their views and just see over weight people as lazy, indulgent over eaters. But that is an incorrect assumption. Just because someone is thin it does not mean that they are fit and that they cant have an heart attack, have circulatory problems etc...I have known many a thin person to have had a heart attack,be an diabetic, have circulatory problems etc.....  | |

Doctors dont know why it occurs in some women but not others, but they are still researching on ways to find a cure/help those that are suffering with it.There are ways you can manage it and that is with some weight loss, but you are right its not easy!! And we do have to work 10x as much just to lose a small amount of weight. I know what you are going through hon, as I have it as well..When were you diagnosed, at what age? | |

You can appreciate and accept somebody, and not wanting to sleep with her. In your first post, you wrote: "Wake up people!! Size is not relevant to what a person is." In the same way, I can write: "Wake up, people!! Size IS relevant to a person finding you attractive or not."
Some people are militant in their views and just see over weight people as lazy, indulgent over eaters.
There are also militant people who see people who don't date fat people as shallow jerks. What is the difference?
But dont expect someone to accept you are as you are but in return you expect perfection or have a preference in what others should look like.

depends on the woman...i'd prefer if a woman didn't weigh more than me...but i've been attracted to/dated women of all sorts of different sizes.
i find that women who are more my size (just a few extra pounds) are able to keep up with me on a hike/walk, and are also more cuddly than the barbie types when it's time to just rent a video and snuggle up... | |

As for larger women it really depends on the build my ex was a bigger girl but she was big all over in all the right places so she evened out.
Also I dont want to sound shallow but if it's for a serious relationship you do HAVE to be physically attracted to the other person i mean i dont know about the rest of the male population but it's hard to get an erection looking at swamp thing.
That goes both ways though i dont expect a girl who finds me unnatractive to want to have any kind of physical relationship with me either.
Also assuming you do have a meaningful sex free relationship with a person you decide you love each other and you wanna get married what's gonna happen on your wedding night
your gonna tell the guy...."excuse me darling but could you place this paper bag on your head and pretend your orlando bloom for me?" yeah thatll be a healthy relationship.
Thankfully peoples versions of attractive vary greatly. I personally prefer if girls aren't too skinny a flat tummy is nice but a six pack is no fun to hold in bed. | |

But it's not that great people, gotta wear long johns year round because my body cools off ridiculously fast. I'm a fat guy trapped in a skinny guys body.
Frankly I don't really care about body type all that much, any woman can pull off any shape if shes proud of it regardless of what other ignorant people might think. | |

In other words the woman with the smaller waist but wider hips will get the guy...and being fit is important for child bearing and even if he doesn't realize it, his instincts will seek that out.
So fat? Depending on your definition of fat, but out of shape and wearing big heavy tshirts to cover up all the bulges type fat, no I don't think any man is biologically attracted to such a female because she has poorer changes of providing him with healthy offspring...it's just how natural selection works.
But...there are men out there who are past their "conquest" stage and have evolved beyond their biological process and will look deeper to find a woman's qualities as opposed to her physical attributes...
The reality is the strongest, healthiest, most fertile female wins...hands down! It's in the biological cards and there isn't much anyone can do about that. They don't just notice her first, they can actually smell her coming a mile away.
