my score was 117, five spares and one strike.
It was the best game i ever had.
Other two were 89 and 80.
Look forward to bowling next Tuesday.

Posted: 12/10/2007 3:28:25 PM | | Wow good for you pat, you could kick my butt in bowling any day of the week. i was happy i got my train set and all the little houses set up. and made chrismas cookies with my girls today, also broke down and told some one about a crush some one has on them i hope it works at well for both of them. was goingto go out and cut a tree down but to much rain and ice. got most of my chrismas shopping done and i' m being a good little elf , been hand sewing a pretty chrismas stocking, and wow been getting to meet some really nice guys from the site and going on nice dates, must have been the move.may santa be so good to all of you. | |

My 4 yr old grandson Mikey just luvs his new baby sister who is now 7 months
and is his CHUNKY MONKEY as he calls her cause she's so heavy..lol
Her name tho is Ralie Elizabeth, and she's the sweetest baby and always
has a big smile..!

Posted: 1/28/2008 7:30:56 PM | actually it wasn't what made me happy or smile today but it was last week, then the other nite. last week i had taken a walk up into town and one of the cows was out roaming around, i was able to lead him back to where he belonged. apparently the electric wire fence wasn't and still isn't working right and the cows get out. while i was up at the cow farm i had my digital camera with me and had taken a pic of the cow farm. the other nite while i was having problems sleeping i decided to upload the pic of the cow farm onto my computer. since i still wasn't able to sleep i decided to sketch the pic of the cow farm. what makes me smile is seeing the sketch that i had done in pencil hanging up on my wall. if only i had charcol and a sketch book it would have been bigger.
it also makes me happy seeing a few familiar faces in here. i hope all is well with everyone and everyone had a good holiday. | |

I'll bet it makes you appreciate your country living situation even more to be able to walk outside your door and have such a time - seeing the cow, helping out, taking the pictures, using the inspiration to draw. Isn't it true that some of the best things in life are free? You got a lot of pleasure out of that one and gave me some, too!
Today I smile since my dear old dad came over and drank tea with me. He's been living across the street for a few months now and it works out very well for both of us in many ways. We went online to look up some things, played with my cats, and talked about lots of ordinary stuff. When we get to arguing he can just go back home, too!!!  | |

Posted: 1/29/2008 12:57:54 PM | ^^^ that was a great experience. people think that i'm crazy since i call the cows my kids, i call the horses my kids too. every morning when i was taking my dog out i would hear the cows moo-ing, i said that they were saying "good morning" to me, at the end of each nite i would hear them again....this time saying "good nite". i love animals of all kinds, even had a run-away turkey "lerch" as a pet from koch's turkey farm (domestic turkeys). who would have known that this city born and raised girl would love the country life as much as i do. i hope you enjoy the pic i sent you.
i'm happy to see that there are some that enjoys the smaller things in life that was given to us as well as the opportunity to enjoy what's around us.
something else that made me happy today is waking up to see that the ground, the grass, and my front deck was like an ice skating rink. that's not what actually made me smile...i would have smiled if it was snow. what made me smile was seeing that the trash men hasn't been around at that time, i had to take the trash out...i did it without falling on my butt and getting hurt. it had taken me a few moments longer to get to the side of the road and back inside but i did it. | |

Posted: 2/7/2008 11:37:52 AM | this afternoon, after last nite's heavy rain i didn't care about where i was walking or what i was walking into. i decided to take a walk up to the cow farm to see my kids (the cows). i had my digital camera with me so i can put a smile on a very dear friend's face when she opens her email. following the instructions with all photos must include at least a head shot i decided to photo shop 2 different pics of me in with the cows. i wanted to have a little bit of fun with them (the pics) so i did. since i have no one to take a pic of me with the cows that's the only way i was able to include myself with them. the cow farm is just one of my favorite places to walk up to. i can stand there for hours and just watch them and talk to them and once in a while maybe they would talk to me as well.
anyway, while walking through the mud and the wet grass i walked up to see them. just as i got a few feet away from the electric wire fence they started walking over to me. like a nut i was standing there talking to my kids and complimenting them with how beautiful they are and how i would love to take one of them home with me. every time i walk up to see them, the cow that's tagged #6 always manages to find his way over to me as if he knows me or something. he's always one of the first to greet me at the fence which is so cool. so as my kids would say........... mooooooooooooooo (have a great day!) | |
