Would you date a Tomboy?
Of course I would, why wouldn't I? I haven’t yet had the pleasure but would definitely relish the chance.

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 4/15/2007 5:48:10 PM | [Guys like us as friends but would rather date girly chicks and basically ignore us.]
I feel this way all the time... I have a million and one 'friends' I've often wondered if one of my 'friends' was interested but was too worried that he would get rejected... Just because we get along with men easier does not mean that we also don't find those same men attractive...
and how come none of you men that like tomboys live in T.O.??

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 7/10/2008 2:39:06 AM | | I love tomboys. Give me a woman who isn't afraid to get dirty, knows how to change her own oil and whom doesn't have a day ruined because she broke a nail! | |

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 7/10/2008 6:26:16 AM | | That's not true Towboys make the best GF. I don't have much interest for girly girls they can't seem to have unless they are plastered. Tomboys can have fun all the time no matter the situation. Plus tomboys aren't afraid of a little bit of work and getting there hands dirty while doing it. | |

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 9/11/2008 12:32:32 AM | I agree with you on that. With me i love having sexy clothes on and stuff like that and i love getting nes things but i hate the whole shopping thing. I'm a girl who loves going out and having fun i love getting dirty and i'm not afraid to say that i use to work on cars with my moms bf and i love motorcycles and would love going driving on them anyday then going out to dinner and a movie take me for a ride on a motorcycle, dirtbike, 4wheeler, 3wheeler anything like that and it would be just as great to me. I love playing sports and watching them just as much. I take about 10 mins in the shower 5 mins to get dressed and 5 mins to get ready and out the door unless i straighten my hair lol cause it can get pretty frezzy :P and still that only takes me 5 mins. HAHA breaking a nail doesn't bother me cause i usually end up breaking mine by chewing on them :P So yeah i look good and can be hot and wild while working on a car :P Although maybe i don't know anything really about fixing cars but i love getting my hands dirty and working on one is fun to me :) | |

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 9/11/2008 6:03:35 AM | | ok i think i have an answer to this one i have dated a few tom boys in my past it can be great. you have someone that you can drink beer with play games with hell even talk about shit with but when it comes down to going out and showing her off to your friends she looks for like a dude then your girl. so wether or not we want to admitt it we as people live of the attention we get from the ones we love like our family and close friends. the women that are tom boys out there that want to be able to get men should think about maybe getting a dress or two and when you do go out just get all girlly girl for once and i can tell you for fact that a normal tomboy will get alot more attention from dressing like a girl than most girlly girls get from dressing like a girl. its not that you have to give up who you are its just maybe experiment with other things too. | |

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 9/11/2008 9:23:29 AM | | Yes. Some friends actually prefer tomboys because they are more aggressive and wilder in the bed. Maybe tomboys have more testosterone I don't know. | |

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 2/4/2009 11:58:29 AM | Here's the thing, I love the way a typical woman looks, but I do dig a woman that has some more "manly" interests. No, I'm not talking about the ones that talk trash or curse like a truck driver, yet expect to be treated like a lady. That's just personality. I'm not talking about the ones that cut their hair short and wear men's clothes either.
I mean the ones who can actually do the "manly" stuff I can, can't or just never learned how to. The ones that can roll-up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. It's kinda cool to be able to go out on town with someone that dresses-up nice and looks totally hot, yet likes to chop wood in the backyard, or fix the plumbing, just because she can. Someone that wants to learn how to make her own furniture.
I dated a woman who was separated from a 25 yr marriage to a plumber. She could actually weld and solder her own fixtures. She even took me snowmobiling and taught me how to ride. Very lady-like personality and definitely not "boy-ish" looking at all.
Very, very sexy.

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 2/4/2009 12:46:57 PM | | Yes I would, Just because they like "GUY" stuff is no reason to not to date them. Some of my closest "girl" friends have been "tomboy"ish. And they were believe me all woman and could be very "girlish". So Yes I would date a "TOMBOY" | |

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 2/4/2009 2:01:07 PM | Maybe that's why I have a hard time also. Men do not find us as attractive as the really girly chicks who are afraid to break a nail.
I heard an offensive remark that tomboys are lesbians. That is far from true. I'm not a lesbian.

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 2/4/2009 3:04:53 PM | If most of my friends were girls, you'd question it, so why wouldn't I question a girl with mostly guy friends?
Most of those guys want to sleep with you anyway. www.laddertheory.com

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 2/5/2009 4:22:15 AM | Only if she could whoop my ass like a Lumberjack at a pancake festival.
Either that, or I whoop her ass, and we end up equal.
But she CANNOT play with my Nintendo.......or my fishing pole. She has to go get her own.

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 2/5/2009 4:28:29 AM | yer i here that! I get chatted up by lesbians all the time, if I didnt have long hair I willingly admit I would look like a gay man. I dont think I look very approachable which doesnt help! Some men have even told me they find me intimidating LOL But surely there must be some men out there with a bit more balls!? (pun not intended)
well sod it, I want to sit and drink my beer and have a laugh! Not hang on some blokes arm sipping wine , or ****ing with my girlfriends! the only blokes I do seem to attract are either wimpy and need on me to wear the trousers, or some kind of bondage sex perverts LOL ! They say opposites attract but Id like someone to be my equal and maybe even boss me about a bit. But unfortunately those type of guys go for pink fluffy vunerable kinda girls and are just not interested in the kind of leather clad, loud mouth brand of madness that I bring. Its a tough call for the tomboys of this world...

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 2/5/2009 4:56:34 AM | I think if you broke it down that you would find that the younger men and the white collar types probably prefer the model types and the more mature blue collar guys actually prefer a Tomboy. We work hard and play hard and want a woman who can keep up with us. That's a double edged sword though, because we still want her to look like a girl when we take her to bed at night. Some ladies look good with short hair, but face it gal's those page boys and bowl cuts are too close to what are moms wore after they about 40 or 50, is that really the image you want in youre mans head when you crawl between the sheets with him ? I don't care if you beat me in pool, out hunt or fish me, hell if you can beat me arm wrestling we can find a way to work with that. But I ain't kissin on some one who looks more like a man than I do. You can be a Tomboy, but you can still be sexy. | |

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 2/5/2009 6:27:34 AM | I have a picture of myself at age 1 standing with my dad, holding his hand, wearing a frilly skirt. I think that is the only picture I have of me wearing a frilly skirt. :) Had my father not passed away before I turned 3, and had I not been influenced by a mother who took over both parental roles, and two much older brothers who taught me how to fend for myself, I wouldn't be where I am now.
I own more tools than most men I can fix almost anything I have an air compressor -and- a gas-powered power washer ;) I own/ride a motorcycle (and I am a certified instructor!) I have a FOID card I love the outdoors I do computer consulting for a living
...and I love having the door opened for me. :)
I am not a foul-mouthed bar babe. I feel comfortable in a room full of men at a gun auction, and I mingle well with both sexes.
I have had some men in the past say I'm "too close to home", as I had so many similar interests to theirs that it was a bit unsettling and invasive for them in the beginning. They eventually got over it, and I think I may have ruined them for life with future girlfriends. :)

I love whooping a guys a$$ (or at least trying). I grew up wrastling with my childhood sweetheart before we hit puberty (or during) and it was the best! I also have a friend (6'1", 220) who likes to sneak up on me and pick me up at which point I start working on kicking his ass... Now he says I don't get to kick anymore, the elbows hurt and the kidney punches hurt too....and of course if I get hurt, when I get loose, I throw stuff (and I have very good aim). A few judo courses and a tiny bit of wrestling in H.S. help when it comes to the submission moves....heeheehee! At age 5 I chased the boys, caught them, took em down and kissed em and well given the chance I'd probably do it again today, but I like it better when they do the chasing and takin down...
And when we're done playing I'll go cook up them pancakes, build you a plate your way and bring it to you! However, I'll leave the mechanics (unless it's my bikes, I'll help with that) and bbqing to the menfolk. Can't have that kind of fun with my girlfriends, most of them are girly girls...too bad camo isn't considered "professional Attire"...!!!

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 2/5/2009 10:32:47 AM | My ex-wife was a kind of cute Tom Boy. She could get dressed as fast as I could. Hair and make up was a minute or less. I loved it.
Unfortunately, she was moody.

| Would you date a Tomboy ? Posted: 2/7/2009 1:24:28 PM | | I would never date a tomboy. I like girls who actually act like girls. If you want to find yourself a gentleman then I suggest you try acting more like a lady. | |

There is no such thing as a tomboy who can be a lady. That's like saying show me a dog who can be a cat. You're either a tomboy or you're a lady; you can't be both.
