Kelly it never occured to me that a c o c k a p o o would be a good hunting dog! tho upon reflection, they are half c o c k e r spaniel so that would make sense. And poodles are so smart they can probably learn anything. Here though they are considered lap dogs and house pets.

What do you do that you travel so much that a well mannered dog can't go with you? I can see my monsters not being allowed out in public, but I used to travel with a Peke and a Beagle and 4 cats, and most hotels would actually let us in. I always had to stay in a smoking room, but other than that it was quite doable. (The critters LOVED rooms with two beds- it ment they all got a corner!!) You probably shouldn't listen to me anyway- I'm the same person who traveled from Maine to South Dakota and back with 8 horses, had to make 3 trips to get everybody moved because Galley had her foal unexpectedly early. Cats got well traveled as I didn't dare leave any of them with friends along the way!

Eddie has been awfully quiet....new job must be keeping him busy....or maybe the fact we haven't mentioned chocolate pudding in a while has something to do with it??
I think it's the lack of chocolate pudding. He just started the job yesterday.

Kow, I don't know what her name will be. There are two and I'll choose between them. They usually don't keep the name given to them at the puppy mills, and certainly wouldn't want to have her keep a name given in such a place. I should know more in about a week.

OpieDopey --I think he meant that she's someone he knew back in high school....but I like your version better!!

I broke a tooth today......don't ask where the pieces ended up ok?!?! I managed to get an emergency appointment at the Tufts Univ.Dental school- and got an appointment with a faculty member not a student- for tomorrow afternoon! Good thing I am not in excruciating pain or anything!! LOL I may have to mortgage my soul, sell my firstborn child and walk the red light district at night to pay for this! But my dentist in Maine is on vacation for 2 weeks, I might have been able to beg him for a weekend appointment.....but because it does ache some, I don't dare try to wait for him to get back. My luck come Saturday night I'd find myself in the ER begging to be put out of my misery!!

I was eating some Chocolate Pudding this morning and found a tooth in there.

WTF!!!!

Says on the outside of the tub of Chocolate Pudding that it cames from New England area. That'll teach me.

Don't ask me where it went after going in my mouth. At least I didn't chip or break one of my teeth. I did spit out the one that I found in the tub of Chocolate Pudding and it smelled like Maple Syrup for some reason. Silly moment, it dropped into the tub of Chocolate Pudding and while realizing that I did just swallow it not soon enough to reverse path of travel.

Hey, if I went and bought a goldfish from a pet store, would that be considered Rescuing it? Just wondering.

I am so tired!!!

Been too excited about the job to go to sleep, and it's not even close to being a full moon that normally keeps me up! That way too, you dirty naughty ladies!! Yeah Baby, YEAH!

I have had 2 to 3 hours of sleep a night all week. I will set up my VCR for taping and then go to sleep.

I need to use my bubbling heated vibrating foot massager!

Found out that I have a good highway transmission in my 1970 VW Bus. The normal ones for that year have a governor that only allows them to go 70. I thought that was all I could do and never thought about it much. The more I play, work, on it I get better and better gas mileage and it runs better. I was tooling along just going with traffic over out 205 bridge into Vancouver, WA, and looked down to see I was going over 85 heading to 90 the limit on the speedometer. I didn't even have the pedal all the way down and I was going up hill into the winds. That felt good! Normally I drive the posted speed limit, just being silly this morning. I thought that once I would enter Washington I would slow down to posted speed like normal. I coasted for a mile with traffic to get over to the right more and I slowed down. Just down the road, yep, Motorcycle Cop! Speed Gun out and pulled someone over following me and passing me! Whew!

Nice to know my good old Bus can move! The only time I have pushed the gas pedal down to the floor or close to it is when I am going up steep hills. I have good compression and a good engine! I love driving that Bus!!!

Kow-teng, did you bust a tooth busting a move?

Maine Mating Dancing!

Hate to see how the other person turned out!

Oh, ice cream, wonderful creamy fulfilling ice cream!!!

I hope Kow-teng that you get to have some ice cream soon after surgery and that you recover quickly!

I rescued a pet from certain doom.

Walking along in the mall there he was looking at me****d headed and I knew I just had to have him for my own! He fits any where and looks so natural where ever he ends up in my decor!

He's a bit orange but I don't mind, wears a thin black leather tie like he was born to it.

Oh, Bill, you silly Cat!

Hey, I got him on sale!

I think I rescued him from being bought by someone else that just didn't understand him, wouldn't respect him, and may have even tried to feed him cheap dry cat foods! They most likely would have gotten tired of him and off to the dumpster he would go, flying through the air legs spread and splayed and burping or doing what ever it is he does so naturally beautiful all on his own. They could have also just chucked him into the wood chopper, could have happened.

If I could sleep well I would be posting more! I'll get back into my synchro.

Eddie Spaghetti, EKB, Sweet Cheeks, Buttless, Pregno Man, late for dinner, hey a$$hole, Chocolate Pudding King, Old Fart and some others too I'll bet!

Eddie you're too funny!! Eat some chocolate pudding from Maine and then take some sominex and go to sleep!!

Genre- I'm not having surgery- I'm having a tooth extraction. Hopefully. My employer isn't well so I may not be able to leave today, one of her sons is coming to work in town next week so maybe I'll get it done then.

Kelly- aw, please do tell us your 3rd bit of bad luck! You might make us feel better about ourselves! LOL It's been a couple of months already and your tooth hasn't settled in? That doesn't sound promising my friend.

Kow, I broke a tooth a few years ago, didn't hurt a bit..... until I had it repaired, then all hell broke loose. ...hurt like hell, but that's because the dentist hit a nerve when he was working on it.

Livinlife, look into the monitor and smile... ...ok now, say ahhhhhhhhhh turn your head a little to the left....tilt up.. little more ............................................ Oh MY! that looks bad. Eat two Tootsie Rolls and call me in the morning...

Kelly, so you are looking like David Letterman maybe?

Tooth gapped and all.

I have one tooth on the left side of my face that has a lean forwardness about it that left a big gap in the back of it. Could almost put a whole tooth there! Came from learning how to block kicks to the head. The tooth did a great job of blocking while my arms and hands kind of missed the mark. Only had to happen once! :)

I used to have, well, still do, a gap between my two front teeth on top. Gaps mostly on the top teeth, makes flossing easy! Bottom teeth have always been tight until my Dentist removed my two bottom wisdom teeth. Slowly over the years there are gaps now, sort of, but flossing can be done now! Also get meat from steaks and such caught up in those gaps, which means I need to floss! Kind of like a built in floss reminder system.

It's early in the morning so it's Smoothie Time! I have nice big old Costco Strawberries and bananas, maybe I'll make up two smoothies as I can add a mango too! For ice I could use regular ice cubes I made or use some of the frozen berries I bought at Costco! I love shopping at Costco! For the last year and a half I have been living within 2 miles of a Costco! Sent shivers up and down my spine when I realized that, good and bad! Good because I can go there daily, maybe twice or a dozen times daily, and shop! Bad because I can go there daily, maybe twice or a hundred times daily, and SHOP!!

I don't know what it is about that store. I don't even sample all the neat foods they have out for sampling. I wish that I could buy a whole sheet of their cupcakes, Chocolate Chocolate Chip, and not have to dump half or less of them because they just don't last! If I had a doggie I couldn't really be feeding him/her chocolate to take up the slack there. One can only eat so many of Costco's muffins!! That's what they are as cupcakes are smaller. Something like 15 muffins. Just a silly amount of them! Such a good price!

Love their bananas too! $1.30 each bunch no matter what!

They also have such great deals on many other items too. I should be a constant daily blogger for the wonders of Costco!

They should sell Costco hats.

New job is great, doing well, will start regular shift Sunday morning working days on 12 hour shifts from 6 to 6! The days I don't work one week I will work the next and so on. Meaning I will have 14 to 15 days off a month! Fishing and or golfing during the week!! Maybe even having a snowball fight with myself during the winter months if it snows this winter. Some times we only get one or two days of snow, sometimes one or two couple of days of ice and freezing rain, typical NW stuff. Mostly rain! That's why I like doing jigsaw puzzles, something to do inside while sipping Hot Cocoa!! Maybe a little shot of tequilla in there! I do have a fireplace but don't know how to use it. If I did no doubt the Firefighters would show up thinking it was Kelly they'd meet.

At least your pack of 3 funky times have passed Kelly!

Time for smoothie creating and then watching an hour of Thunderbirds! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1! Thunderbirds are GO!

Yummy, smoothie!

Eddie you make Costco sound truly inviting! LOL I've heard of it, but I don't think we have any in Maine, maybe not even in New England??

Kelly, how's Bear doing?

Genre, how are the twins doing?? Lil cuties!! I have always thought we humans did a poor job of it, makes far more sense to have twins or triplets and then stop the baby facotry. All that discomfort of 9 months being preggers and then labor....for just ONE fragile baby. Multiples makes much more sense! Speaking of preggers, Eddie, how far along are you again?? I get so confused!

Read this article that sounds pretty interesting, especially good way to sell a book!!
Check this link: http://www.lovein90daysbootcamp.com/ dianakirschner.html remove the space between / and dianakirschner.

She claims that ANYONE can find true love in 90 days!!! And the book is only $9. I say, we all chip in, buy it, and share it!!! LOL I'm impatient, 90 days seems like a long time!

tooth is still hanging in there.....hole just got bigger and deeper....am crossing fingers it holds til O'dark thirty on Tuesday morning.

So aweful to be stuck in MASS on the weekend instead of home playing with my poodles!!

Hi Kow-Teng,

Costco's are very much like Sam's Clubs too. They may have those were you live. Maybe not! Go to costco.com and check out what they have online, it is pretty much what is in the stores. There are like five Costcos are here and you can find pretty much the same stuff there but each one is different enough that you can find stuff at each one that you can't find at others. Nice stuff too. Online you won't get the real flavor of the place as there won't be any foods and produce and that, and their bakery items! Or the wines and such. Prices are just so good there! They used to have t-shirts that said "I left Costco with a reciept for under $100!" as it is hard to leave there with out spending so little. They also have had for decades a great deal for a hog dog, not the cheap type either, on a nice bun with nice condiments and a soda for $1.50. Great pizza's for $9.95 that are big, berry smoothies, mochas, big nice ice cream bars with chocolate dip with or without nuts, Churros which I might have mispelled, and something else. Oh, Chicken Bakes! Chicken breast strips in a dough wrap baked over the goodies inside like ceasar salad on the chicken and stuff. They bake them in the pizza ovens that are constantly going and selling pizzas. I'm missing other things too. Online is still good to see what they have to offer. If you ever go to one they use these 5x8 white cards for the item #, price, quantity that are stuck magnetically onto the metal shelf edges. If you see an * up in the right corner that means they are either seasonal, one time deal, or an item that will be discontinued when they are all sold out.

I am now I guess still pregnant, okra, radish and Puddin are still hanging in there, I think there is a fourth named Butters too. Just a thought.

Wow, $9 for true love in 90 days! Is there a return voucher in the book? Tee Hee!

Yikes, hole just got bigger and deeper, that doesn't sound good on many levels. Snicker.

Oh, they sell great stuff under the brand name Kirkland at Costco. Cheese, ice cream that is just vanilla and great, all sorts of stuff with that brand name on. Other well known brand names are there too and usually in bigger sized boxes with higher quantities and sometimes higher quality than you can buy else where and for less money easily. They do charge a $55 dollar annual fee. I remember when it used to be $10. Time moves on. Some people balk at this fee but you can easily make it up the first time you shop there or later that month, easily. Really easily!

They are known for selling in Bulk only but that isn't the case. Ha-ha, case. They do shrink wrap some items so they sell two for one, good deals, but not to the extent like they used to before. Packaging has caught up to them so that is why you get a box of Oreo's that holds close to three times what a normal thing holds in regular stores but you pay the same price or even less. Sure, Oreos aren't mainstays but that was an item that sticks in my mind as I fight myself from buying them there or else where! They are fattening and not that great to eat but for some reason with milk you don't think about it and stopping is hard to do!

Fish, great big old fillets of whole Salmon!! Sometimes only $12 to $15 each or up to $20 to $25 each. Fresh! You can't get that any where else. They are usually Atlantic Salmon which is what you get. NW Pacific caught Salmon have various types and they are much better but for us here in the NW it is fun to find and eat that too! We're spoiled here! YEah!

At least you're not stuck in North or South Dakota! Sorry if anyone reading this is there right now. My sympathy.

I have been crash napping on my recliner today, feels good! Eating a lot of Costco watermelon and lemonade! I will be eating some of RK's BeefBurger later on, well, fairly soon, for dinner! I bought some more ground beef and will add that and some real vinegar to make it less condiment flavored! :)

I love Cooking!

I love Eating!

I sort of like dieting and exercising, and...

Ah, fishing, that's what I need to do more of this year! My new job gives me the schedule that will give me more time than needed so I like that!

Have fun all and Kow-Teng I hope your teeth come out great and that you are feeling really good soon there after!

Kow, the twins are doing great! I'll get to see them Thursday when I drive to San Francisco to pick up my new little girl. She's flying in from North Carolina late Wednesday night. I wish I could be there to greet her at the airport, but I have a meeting at work on Thursday morning that I shouldn't miss, so I'll drive down Thursday afternoon. The rescue coordinator will board her until I can get there. I'm on pins and needles to see her, and to see how she and Ciarin will get along. I hope everything goes well. I'm so nervous. Her name is Cialey (Kiley).

I look at the pictures of the twins, and I want to bite those fat little cheeks so bad. They're so sweet. There's nothing quite like kissing a baby, but kissing a puppy is a close second.

How are your new little guys Kow? And when do you get that tooth taken care of? Did you break one on the side you use the most for chewing?

Eddie, I had my first Buffalo Rib steak just now. I don't think I'm too fond of it. The only thing I like better about it is that it's very tender. I also bought buffalo ground beef. We'll see how I like that.

I got a headache. I think I got too much sun out hiking today. Gonna go lay down for a while.

Did you guys see that Fupped Duck's 16-year old son was killed this week? I don't know how, but he's crushed, as any parent would be. I e-mailed him this morning with my best wishes. When I came home from Tahoe, he had replied. You feel so helpless when something like this happens. Life just F*ckin sucks sometimes.

He's not gone, JD. He's changed to "The Sad Duck." Damn. I gonna cry. I just hate this type of thing. It's part of life, I know, but it's so hard. It's times like this that I wish that I could physically touch each and every one of the people who have touched my life, including you guys, and give them a huge hug.

Consider this my hug to each and every one of you.

well genrae, we were saving it for the testimonial page but now that you've spilled the beans........... Let's not give Kelly nightmares!! ROFLMAO He's prolly been busy with the high school sweetie, and I've just not been feeling well again. I think there's something wrong with the air conditioning in this house, this is the 3rd cold I've had in about 6 weeks, and I am not usually sick at all. And the old folks have been sick with colds too. Just isn't normal for this time of year. Plus the tooth.... which hopefully will be dealt with tomorrow a.m.

I'm heading to Maine this afternoon and will play with the puppies!! Can't wait!! I miss my dogs a lot........last Sunday night I woke up once in the night wondering where Pi was....he's usually at my feet on the floor.......! LOL

Get lots of photos of your new baby Genrae, I'd love to see them!

Henry (my lil brother) said he got one side of the house finished, moved the staging, and will start on the 2nd most difficult side of the house next. Assuming it isn't raining cats and dogs and little fishes because in NY it's pouring big time....and here in Mass it looks well, pretty dismal actually. This must be the coolest July on record in New England.

Thinking about a career change...when this job is done..... T Mobile is only 30-40 minutes drive away from my place in Maine, and they have awesome benies including a staff cafeteria and workout room with showers. They pay pretty well for that kind of job too. It's just customer service and soft sales, nothing I haven't done as a receptionist/secretary for R. H. Reny's Dept. Stores in Maine! LOL L.L.Bean is too far away and they pay crap.

You Go Kow Girl!!!

You don't need to work with a bag of Bitshay Negative Attitude anymore! Especially when the lady is rude and inconsiderate of those around her. Pain's one thing but a good personality shines through it. You're too good of a person to put up with that! T-Mobile sounds like a good job for you! Pi, Cheyenne and Da Kids will appreciate having you around more too.

Cool on the siding going up with your Brother's help! Buy him a couple of Big Tubs of Chocolate Pudding!

Colds suck. Since I have left where I was working I haven't had a cold or the flu either! Some of the privilaged Friends of the Partners there would come in sick and not work but bother everyone hanging around them coughing and such and wouldn't leave you be even when you asked nicely many times and finally got rude to get them to leave you. In your case you are helping her live her life and that cold is just going to pass around till it's out of there. Not good! You are making a good choice to get a new job!!

Don't let that old lady take you down with her! If they go to Florida don't let them make you go and not pay for your room and board! That's just beyond cheap and rude! You need to live your life!

Doesn't LL Bean pay their workers in Toots Bills?

I worked my first full day yesterday and it was great!

Now I have two days off and then work two and then three days off! Oh, the horror of such a grueling schedule!!

Heck I'll even toss in the Lady's Favorite Green Jumping Dildo Banana Guy!

Still looks like a pickle.

Hey, what ever's handy I guess.

Kow Girl, is there like only 103 people living in Maine?

Just think what fun and how great you will feel once that tooth thing is taken care of!

Smiles!!!

I bought the latest Harry Potter book, once I knew I was going to the dentist...and read 1/2 of the book while recovering from the tooth extraction....laid couch cushions on the ramp and a large pillow against door, read outside in the warm shade, with Cheyenne and puppies playing around me. Now and again puppies would deside to attack my shoelaces or climb in my lap....Sable has especially decided that this particular opposable thumbed human is fascinating and worthy of further exploration! LOL Amazing how Cheyenne has taught them not to bite hard when playing....and they already snap to attention when she alerts to chipmunks and squirrels! LOL

Amazing too that the puppies, somehow instinctively know that people food is SO MUCH BETTER than puppy chow! 2-3 weeks ago they had some pizza crust....Tuesday I had a sandwich I was quietly unwrapping whilest everyone was sound asleep. Sable came up first, and begged sweetly for some.....then Conan and Cheyenne appeared....all were gentle and waited their turns for the roast beef and cheese sandwich...which was purchased under the assumption Henry would be there, only he left early due to the heat.......and since I couldn't chew it...........they shared a $7 meal! LOL Later, Pi had the 2nd sandwich I had bought for Henry........he liked everything but the pickles.

Eddy has inspired me to be more...................
