well here I sit in the best western parking lot, taking a break before I drive the last hour home....long and nerve wracking ride tonight due to traffic and cops everywhere! (while I dont want a speeding ticket, sometimes, I do tempt fate!) Decided to get on line for a few before I finish the drive home.

the connection here is awesome!! Fast!! Luv It!!

Kelly, I'm glad someone's got a life!! Stop by and give us the high lights now and again ok?

Genrae, home yet with the new baby??

Eddie, if you weren't allergic to dogs........sigh.........we'll just have to be happy long distance! LOL

hugs!!

During the last investigation many thought that the man was typing alot. K I have vested interests here but...Trying to throw them off, this stuff shows up on your profile. ..lol, I'm not worried, I met my friend tonight, we had a couple few drinks at her house, went blading to my parents house, they were not home, HEY get your mind out of the gutter, K so she met bear, we had a drink, We bladed back to her place and I went back to my parents. We did talk alot, She admits she has make some bad choices in guys, so she's cautious. Said she falls for someone easily then can't back out. I know what she means.
Well we did just get reaquainted, so I did'nt ask her to marry me yet. Oh I still need that divorce ..lol, I tell you guys way too much..We plan to go to my cottage saturday for the night then to hers for the day on sunday.

She does want to stay single for a bit, I understand that, I just enjoy having someone to hang out with when I'm here.

I was quiet all week, Can ya tell I was drinking tonight..

Yeah, Kelly, everything you typed in is spelled backwards? What you drinking?

That sounds like you two have a lot in common and should work out well. Best wishes!

Kow Girl, smart move on taking a rest. My commute home is cross town into the other state and then back. There's always some jerk cutting in and out at high speeds making others brake fast. You get to see all the red brake lights up ahead go on as they make their way. Very fun to see them pulled over being asked a few questions while a ticket is written out! I have seen five in just 8 days of driving to my new job. The best one was this jerk in a pickup pulling an empty trailer behind him. Traffic was going about 55 to 60 and he was making really good time maybe going 80 to 90. That trailer was bouncing around behind him, one wheel down usually as he was driving stupid and changing lanes constantly. This is right before the speed goes down to 50 and a lot of caution signs and such are up, The Twillager Curve. (spelling most likely wrong) This curve is close to being U shaped, three full lanes on I-5 going south. Everyone was slowing down and it really slowed down as there was that jerk in the pickup with his empty trailer behind him. When I passed I got his eyes to look at me and I made a very loud HA-HA just like that kid on the Simpsons. The cop turned and laughed and that guy was speechless. Great Stuff!

His mouth was even left hanging open. It was like the perfect time for me to do that and I have always wanted to!

I am allergic to most doggies, especially the ones that are not cared for and don't get washed and are allowed to just roam the house leaving hair, drool, piss and poop every where. Sounds weird but I know and have been in way too many houses with doggies that allow that. Supposed to be respecting the Doggie's natural ways of life. Real crazy chit like that. Not just one or two. Something about the NW that people do that with their doggies. Don't even get me started on cats! YIKES! I love cats but even just getting within a couple of feet of them my eyes itch and water up and sneezing big time. When I ride in a cat owners car even I get that and it doesn't just go away as soon as I breath fresh air like it does with doggies. It will last one to three days. Not fun. I have a Crazy Cat Lady living next door, she actually believes all animals should have the right to vote and become citizens. She, well, she really is nuts. Her male cat she has started to leave outside every now and then. He tries to get into the garages and jumps in the cars and sprays them. Not fun. I have caught the little Basturd in my garage locked up over night, once for two days, didn't know he was in there. Last night he was trying to steal one of my steaks from the BBQ before they were put on the grill. He was right up there biting on a steak getting a good hold. My first instinct was to grab him by his head and fling him into the nieghbors yard behind me that has three doggies that would have loved chasing him around. I just shooed him away and tossed that steak. I didn't want to take any chances. I saw him jump up on the BBQ so I know he didn't mouth any of the other steaks. Letting cats go free is just as bad as letting doggies go free.

Ah, that felt good to get out!

Crazy Cat Lady bought a powered scooter and has only driven it once to and from work which isn't far for her. She drives her car from now on. She bought such an underpowered scooter. Genre, yours would go faster! I like how your's looks and can imagine untrained Ciarin pulling you all over the place on that thing at top speeds higher than that scooter Crazy Cat Lady has. I'll bet she will be selling it on craigslist soon. She does that, buy stuff brand new and then find out it wasn't such a good buy. She brags about doing that, funny stuff. I get to hear her yack with ladies only, she yells at men or tries to pick a verbal fight with them so she can yell at them. Oh, Crazy Cat Lady!

Went from Kelly Living Large and Kow Girl being a sane driver to... oh, yeah, I'm allergic only to doggies that are not cared for right. There are some that do get me going though. Didn't affect me like that till I moved here to the NW and Asthma showed that it was there. Most perfumes make me sneeze. Funny times when waiting for an elevator inside or out and the doors open and some lady is wearing some. Big time Sneeze comes up!

I'm left standing there snotty, spots in front of me, maybe my teeth slammed together and or I bit my tongue! It is funny stuff you know. I don't think I have sprayed anyone. They need a sneeze emoticon.

Time to go to bed and Think and Dream about flying and Making the Donuts!!

Autopilot on! Bring in Suzie De Donutte!

Wouldn't it be fun Kow Girl if you could just get in your vehicle and it automatically drives where you want to go so you can sleep or do Sudoku?

Eddie,
Who just let his mind do the typing!

Hi Genrae! (And Eddie and Kelly)

Yes, the jaw has still been bothering me. Nervous its infected but will give it a few more days.............I could be just really spleeny!! LOL

Home was wonderful this weekend even so..........after getting some work done on the place Henry, Pi and I walked down to the river and Pi and I were supposedly going swimming and Pi was going to get a bath. Well, Pi went in knee deep, and then, well, he's got this very exspressive face....he clearly said, "I am not a water dog." Finally I kinda sorta picked him up and half dragged him in deep enough so I could bathe him...he was not pleased, and from then on, his face said over and over.... "she's crazy!" or "she's stark raving mad!" No amount of coaxing got him in, though he tried hard to coax me OUT. LOL The water was blissful though......Henry was just not interested in the water, tho Pi's antics got us both laughing.

Cheyenne and Pups went to vet....pups got car sick (in crate thankfully). Cheyenne did me proud at the vets, no biting, snarling or anything other than looking like a proud Momma......which was a real concern! When we got home, the pups spent hours just looking and acting like they were so glad to be home and that the world had stopped spinning out from under them! Conan weighs 17 lbs, and Sable weighs 17 1/5 pounds and they are just 7 weeks! Next month I will not be able to carry them in a crate, they will have to be leash trained by then.....

Flower gardens are looking good. Though dry....still hand watering hauled water.

Henry is going to build me a new deck, large enough to put the propane tanks on...this is going to look soooo good!!

Would anyone know what the universities are like in Maine, as I would like to attend one someday. Also what is it like living in Maine?

Welcome emmsass! How soon are you thinking of visiting the fine state of Maine?

Univ. of Maine is good, but the admissions folks will give you lousy advice so be sure to talk to someone in the dept you intend to study in to get the 'real' scoop on the exact classes and triple check with the financial aid dept no matter what admissions says.

Unity college is good, full of tree huggers so if you're philosophically in-sinc you'll be fine.

Living in Maine is great during the summer months, the rest of the year it depends! LOL
It costs more to live in Maine than anyone will tell you- so be prepared to have enough money or work while going to school. Everyone I've talked to who came here "from away" was ill-advised when it came to $$ and weather. We have 3 months of really good weather if we're lucky. This summer it's been a short summer, spring cold didn't want to let up.

I'm a native, ask me particulars about where you're thinking of heading.....

Folks here are a little bit reserved, but genuinely good people. If you need help you will get it from your neighbors and the local churches.

Wow, Maine is similar to Oregon, 3 months good and the rest not so good.

We don't have the snow storms and such as Maine but we do get a freeze day or two a Winter, mostly rain and dreary cloud covered days in the Winter.

Summer is sunny and warm and inviting and fun.

I miss Hawaii!!!

If I win the Lottery Kow Girl I'll visit Maine! I'll come and put a well in for you, like deep enough that you get water uninterupted year round! Imagine that!

Ha-ha-ha, emmasss question and posting sure threw us all for a loop. Not used to that but it felt good! Hope you have fun in Maine if you go there!

Good to hear about Pi, Cheyenne and the Kids! HUGE Kids!!! Wow, 17 pounds already.

Their first trip away and back to home! I hope you can get them in the car again next time.

I'll agree you should move home Kelly, if you first come here to Maine and help me finish putting the cedar shingle siding up on the house! Otherwise, no, you stay right where you are and be miserable!!!

My fave place to watch paint dry is from my porch, while the cute maintence guy does touch ups. It seems like the grey paint dries faster than the white.... that or he just has more white paint on his jeans...lol. And I guess its outdoor paint

LMAO

2000 VIEWS?!?!? OMG!!!!!! People we've gotta spice it up a little bit, or as Emeril says, Kick it up a notch!! LOL

A blonde dwarf woman goes to the doctors.
The doctor says "What can I do for you?"
The blonde dwarf woman says "Doctor, everytime it rains my fanny gets sore."
The doctor doesn’t understand and asks her to explain.
So she says "I don’t know what it is,but everytime it’s raining,my fanny ****ing kills me."
The doctor says "Well I’ll tell you what, come back and see me when it’s raining and I’ll have a look."
A couple of days later it’s pouring down and the blonde dwarf woman’s back at the doctors."
"Right," he says. "Hop on to the bench and I’ll take a look at you."
So she gets on the bench and the doctor examines her.
Then he goes and gets his scalpel.
He comes back and says "Ok,I just need to do a couple of cuts here and there."
Then he tells her to stand up and asks "How’s that?"
"Excellent,doctor! What did you do?"
He says "Oh,I just took a couple of inches off the top of your wellies."

A blond was shopping at K-Mart and came across a shiny silver thermos.
She was quite fascinated by it, so she picked it up and took it over to the
clerk to ask what it was. The clerk said, "why, that's a thermos....
it keeps hot things hot and cold things cold."
"Wow," said the blond, "that's amazing....I'm going to buy it!"
So she took the thermos and took it to work the next day.
Her boss, who is also blond, saw it on her desk."What's that?" he asked.
"Why, that's a thermos...
it keeps hot things hot and cold things cold,"she replied.
"What do you have in it?"asked the boss,
"Two popsicles and some coffee"

This poem was written by a friend and former neighbor (I grew up near her parents place) Kate Barnes now of Appleton: Maine Poet Laureate Emerita. Kate used to own (maybe still does) a very lovely Hanovarian stallion, black as night. Big, beautiful but a bit head strong. I remember one time he got away from her when she had him hooked up to a cart, he came running down the road, two guys tried to block his path with thier pick ups, he dragged the cart between the two trucks (effectively demolishing it into smithereens) and continued racing through town.

Why do you ask?

I can't make

any story

about my life

tonight. The house

is like an overturned

wastebasket;

the radio

is predicting

more snow,

I ask my dog

to tell me

a story, and she

never hesitates.

"Once upon

a time," she says,

"a woman lived

with a simply

wonderful dog..." and

she stops talking.

"Is that all?"

I ask her.

"Yes," she says,

"Why do you ask?

Isn't it enough?"

Don't forget the Chocolate Pudding too Kelly, that works better than chocolate by itself but use both if needed!

Body paint, ah the days when I was a house painter, pants slightly splattered and only good for work. Ladies loved them, got pinched a lot back in the day. Still do but less for sure.

Funny jokes Kow Girl. Haven't heard that thermos one but can easily see it. I'll share that with a blonde haired friend who thinks blonde jokes are the best things for her. Poem is cool too.

I was born a blonde so maybe I should try that with my thermos.

Did anyone hear the joke about the ocean?
