| Is there a song that describes you? Posted: 6/16/2007 11:12:45 AM | Two songs come to mind that more describe my reasons for being on POF and attending some of the events.
Both by the same group--FOREIGNER
I want to know what love is
and
Waiting for a girl like you
(OK--go to google--type in -- foreigner lyrics--select the 2 songs and if you know the great tunes sing the lyrics, if not just read em) WHHOOOOOO WHHOOOOOOOO
Got to stop taking those female vitamin pills--its one thing to try and get in tune with your female side but really.
Oh yea and Foreigner(along with Santa Claus,no doubt) is coming to Town at either The Boulevard or River Rock Casinos-.
I am so excited-I am so excited-WHHOOOOOOO WHHOOOOOO WHHOOOOOOO I am so excited WHHOOOOOOOO--WHHOOOOOOOO---
WHOOPS--Damn those little pills--Ive wet me knickaars again!!! WHHOOOOOOOO

Chorus] My money's riding on this dark horse, baby My heart is sayin' it's the lucky one And it's true color's gonna shine through someday If we let this Let this dark horse run

| Is there a song that describes you? Posted: 6/17/2007 2:55:14 PM | I think the one that comes to mind the most for me, would be "Your Smile" by Toby Keith...
Take that frown, Turn it upside down, 'Cause you never know who might be, Fallin' in love with your smile.
A broken heart that's on the mend, Takes a little time, I realize. An' right now you wouldn't know, True love if it looked you in the eye.
And the other one would be... Billy Joel "She's got a way"
She's got a smile that heals me I don't know what it is But I have to laugh when she reveals me
She's got a way of talkin' I don't know what it is But it lifts me up when we are walkin' Anywhere
I've had both of those sent to me and was told they suit me so I'll go with that.

| Is there a song that describes you? Posted: 6/19/2007 6:50:35 PM | YUP, I sure do, and it is very simple, bt, I am not too sure who the artist is.
I Have Got A" ROCK N ROLL" Heart.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeee, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, bring on the music, and lyrics.
Aanyone ever heard of the two songs made by "Loverboy", called,
" Everyone's Working For The Weekend"
or how about
"The Kid Is Hot Tonight".
Try listening to the music, the lyrics, and especailly the beat of those two songs, and you will see what I mean, that it gives you a nice high, WITHOUT using drugs, because, you are using music.
The brain, reacts in a certain way, to the sound frequencies of music.
Listen to something like those songs by Loverboy, and it really give you a nice, pleasant, natural high, and puts you in a good mood, and your CONFIDENCE just SOARS to the SKY'S LIMIT.
Because, it works with the brain, and the whole body chemistry.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeee, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, I Have Got A Rock N Roll Heart".

| Is there a song that describes you? Posted: 6/19/2007 7:44:14 PM | Over the years there have been a few for sure. The most memorable ones were:
Approaching Lavender by Gordon Lightfoot
When I need Love by Leo Sayer
This Kiss by Faith Hill
Believe by Cher
Then there was the one some guy in a bar told me made him think of me...no idea what the name is or who sings the song but it was something about a guy getting on a train to go to work early in the morning and then coming home to his woman???? Funniest part of it was I had no idea who the guy was that approached me and told me that but he played it on the jukebox for me.....lol

I'm a ****, I'm a tease I'm a goddess on my knees When you hurt, when you suffer I'm your angel undercover I've been numb, I'm revived Can't say I'm not alive You know I wouldn't want it any other way
Years ago, when i returned from time spent out east, the first song at my homewarming was "The **** Is Back"....can't imagine why that was .....LOL

| Is there a song that describes you? Posted: 6/20/2007 6:24:59 PM | Happy House - Siouxie and the Banshees
This is the happy house -- we're happy here In the happy house -- oh it's such fun We've come to play in the happy house And waste a day in the happy house It never rains We've come to scream in the happy house We're in a dream in the happy house We're all quite sane This is the happy house -- we're happy here There's room for you if you say "I do" But don't say no or you'll have to go We've done no wrong with our blinkers on It's safe and calm if you sing along This is the happy house -- we're happy here in the happy house To forget ourselves -- and pretend all's well There is no hell
