First time at a POF Victoria event.... can you give me an idea of what kind of food should I bring? Need mosquito spray, chairs, plates, etc???

Please contact me by email and I gave you the information in both emails you wanted to know what to put on the sign and I said POF in big letters. You received no more information other than that as I don't have any and there was nothing else to inform you of at this time.

No need for Mosquitoe Spray out here on the coast, unless you go in the woods or around a lake. Mosquitoes can only breed where there's fresh water. The vapors from the ocean's salt water is like a 24 hour Insect Repellant.
But go to places like Elk Lake and you'll be fine in the daytime, but get bitten as it cools off and the insects come out to feed on whatever... or who-ever is left behind.

Posted: 7/7/2007 6:26:05 AM | Well today is the day....looks great out there...the sun is shinning I will be going down around 2ish to find a spot for all of us and clear a space for the fire and places to sit and enjoy the music...Anyone want to come early and help out more than welcome. We are still looking for people to bring some BBQ's I have had no answer from anyone on this...Unless everyone is cooking hot dogs over the fire.

Can't wait for the pictures and to have more fun...Check the main board for more events as even though I have met someone I will be doing the events for a wee bit longer untill I can find someone to take them over. I'm pretty "green" about this posting stuff and have no idea how to find other's comments about the bonfire last night ..... would really love to be able to read them. The event is no longer on the main board of events and I don't know how to get to it. I guess I'll just keep poking around until I might find them. I would like to post my thanks publicly along with others' comments.
Anyway, I want to thank you so very much for all the effort you put into this (and I'm guessing that you've done these events before) ............ I know these things take a lot of planning and a lot of effort. I wasn't sure whether or not to come because I saw that most of the sign-ups were much younger .......... but I'm so glad I did come because I thoroughly enjoyed it ............... especially the great guitar playing and singing ........... that was just wonderful. I also enjoyed meeting a few people and having great chats with them. It was nice to be able to bring my brother ............... he needs to "get out" ........ been a widower a couple of years now. He enjoyed it too.
Sorry to hear you're "leaving" the co-ordinator's position ................. but happy to hear you've found someone. All the best to you.
