| MUSIC THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY Posted: 1/20/2008 5:19:04 PM | Soooo many great answers in the thread so far!
There are many, many answers for me on this one (music in general improves my mood), but if I had to name a single group it would be They Might Be Giants. I can't listen to their CD "Flood" without improving my mood.
eeek, Alice's Restaurant does it for me too. It just came on the radio here a couple of days ago and I grinned like an idiot and sang along...you usually don't hear it except on Thanksgiving (or if you live somewhere where you can catch the Dr. Demento show).

| MUSIC THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY Posted: 1/26/2008 12:15:04 PM | | I agree that music in general makes me happy. I usually listen to more progressive rock, but when it comes to feel good music I get a little sappy: The Monkees, The Archies, Aretha Franklin, The Beatles, etc. And for those days I dread going to work or had a bad day, I always keep a Cheryl Crow CD in the car. She's a happy music machine. Reggae is also a good pick-me-up. | |

I mean, how can you stay in a negative place for too long when it is all about One Love?
