That was pretty much my reaction.
If men don't want to be with independent women, they don't have to be.
From what I read a lot of them are extremely threatened by the entire idea. Bitter was dripping off the bottom of my screen!
My peeve is when they date you, tell you how much they are attracted to and admire that quality in you, then once you are sucked in, they try to destroy it!
I did every thing I could to support my wife being a seperate person and, even though it ended with her leaving, I would not change that. | |

Well, IT is just IT. CBG come on we all know what wonderful mind readers women are because you have IT. Truth, Honesty, and being able to articulate feelings sometimes scares folks. I articulated once, the female articulated once and do you know what happened? She ran, thought the grass was greener on the other side. Go figure it was brown and now shes miserable and the only thing I can do is stand by and continue being IT.

Being honest and upfront is what many women can't deal with and run to the "bad boy" that the only expectations are of sex. (present company excepted) They know how to deal with the normal BS from the guys [and can be in control because they have the "receiver part]. I have had many gals tell me that they got "scared" by me because I do speak from my heart (IT). These are the same ones that want the honesty and integrity and not a liar, not pretentious, good morals, etc from a potential "soul mate" for God's sake and they run with their tails between their legs. When that happens, I shake my head and move on. Watch out what you wish for you just might get it.............................then what? If your not ready for IT, don't ask for IT.
This has been MY experience with "IT".

Actually a couple of us are working on a prototype in our spare time. It will be a variation of the Jerk Detector, but with greater sensitivity to pick up subtle nuances usually missed by the untrained and will have modifications to distinguish between male or female bullsh.t. Venture capital is being raised for those willing to invest. | |
