Posted: 8/23/2008 3:07:28 AM | 'I am not able to log in either - box keeps appearing advising me to go to tools - Internet options and privacy. Cookie setting is on. What now?? I can log into the forum with no problem. Please advise!
I am basically have this problem as well except I can't even log into the forums. I had to create a second account just to post here. I've tried updated the lmhosts file, cleaning cookies, spyware/malware and still no dice. I am not using Norton. Any help would be greatly appreciated! | |

Posted: 8/23/2008 3:20:53 AM | Has PoF done something this week as all of a sudden i cannot log in like the other people above me...one minute it works and then later on in the day it doesn't.
I haven't changed any settings for it to not work, yet it keeps taking me to the cookies settings page.
I have checked my settings and it is set to allow all cookies???
I have also deleted all browser history and cookies???
Yet i still cannot access my account...i have mail i need to read :(
If this was just me with this problem i would understand i may have done something but to see the amount of people with the same problem...doesn't make sense.
Please help me rectify this...asap

I wonder if this only affected Internet Explorer Users or would also prevent Firefox Users from logging in, since I show no Record of you having it installed on your Computer.
When I had the log in issues and couldn't figure out how to log in, I went and downloaded Firefox and used it until I was able to get the issue corrected. I had no problems logging in using the Firefox browser while I was using it. So far it seems to be an issue with IE only. | |

Posted: 8/23/2008 8:36:20 AM | I have gone through these log in issues twice since buying my new laptop and both times I have had to call Microsoft for help. Believe me it isn't the POF site it's something on your computer and more then likely a Microsoft issue. I have a 1-800 number for Microsoft that I will give anyone that wants and asks me for it. I would post it but don't want to get my butt banned from the forums  . Has anyone else tried calling Microsoft for help? What I did was tell them I was having log in issues with certain sites. They said they would help and asked what site and they worked specifically on getting me logged into this site. Once that was fixed I was able to log into other sites I was having issues with.  | |

Uninstall your MEGAUPLOAD 1.0 Then reboot your Computer and try again.
If you are going to re-install it, make sure its not running in the Background 24/7.

Posted: 8/24/2008 1:40:39 AM | OK, so I have tried logging onto my real username on other computers and it is still sending me to that screen where it tells me to enable cookies, etc. This leads me to believe that the problem is on your end and not mine. My real username is 89gibson. Maybe theres something you can do on your end to get it to work again.

I did the privacy settings which I never had to do befor, what the hell is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I set the stupid thing to low and forced the cookies on all cookies first and third party... Still can't log in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
