Posted: 6/25/2007 6:06:58 AM | I had to chime in here though I didn't read every post. I for one think fake boobs are for strippers and porn actresses. Self confidence cannot be boosted by having larger breasts. Sure it will enhance your curves but who and what are you really trying to attract. A real man doesn't care what size your breasts are, it's what's inside a woman that makes all the difference in the world. I have dated smaller breasted women and larger breasted and the breasts made absolutely no difference in whether I liked them or not.
Don't take this the wrong way. You're 18, you will have to live with your choice the rest of your life even though the implants can be removed. But there will always be a scar to some degree and as you get older the scar will become more apparent. And as another poster mentioned usually the nipples become less sensitive after a boob job, I've been with a couple women with boob jobs and they agreed. Breats are for babies and for pleasure, don't ruin what can be very pleasurable for the sake of looks.
God gave you what you have, you're a real cuty and will only become more so with age. leave your body as it is and don't worry about how big your boobs are. Only the BOOBS in this world worry about the size of a womans breasts.
By the way, I could tell when a woman had implants just by the feel and I thought they felt very unatural. | |

And as far as the guys go, I believe about 90% of them prefer large boobs.
I don't even feel comfortable going out on a date, because I know it will be an issue.
As for the padding; sure, that is fine until the clothes come off.

I second that, couldn't wait to go back to my teeny weenies again after having my kids, hated them

Doesn't look that way to me, go back and read some of the men posters here, I don't see 90% saying they prefer big boobs at all 
If all a man is interested in is the size of your boobs, then really, is he worth being with in the first place ?? | |

Thank u someone who knows where I'm coming from. some ppl seem 2 think that i'm doing this for men, bcoz men prefer bigger boobs but thats totally not why i'm doing it, i'm doing it for myself. selfish, maybe but it will give me my confidence back. I know it won't change me, and I don't want i to, I just want to love my body is that a crime?
I agree with icequeen about the padding 2. yea mayb it will help but what happens when the clothes do come off? I feel embarrassed and don't like men looking at them | |

In a long run, both 'eye-catchers' for some men, are 'red flags' in my own eyes for a woman who doesn't have what it takes to run a marathon ...if necessary and possibly desired by both of us. | |

We recomend women under 25 wait for the surgery. Most womens breast do not finish developing until they are that age. I know I was a 32 B (a small b at that) when I graduated high school. I became a 36 DD by the time I graduated college. I hate it. Men talk to my breasts, I cant find cute bras, most cute tops dont fit, forget about dresses. Most guys figure women with a large chest are easy, or that they dont really have feelings. I also know all about the problems that come with getting a boob job. The scarring, the infections, the mono boob, there are so many. 52% will have some sort of complication. Besides did you know you have to go in every several years to get an overhaul? It is not get it done and forget about it. It is a lifetime of surgeries. It does ruin nipple sesitivity and men can tell the difference, they dont feel real. Please wait a few years, see what developes. You may feel differently, or maybe they will come up with a different option of surgery. Try those enhancement creams, I have heard they work for 40% of people who have tried them. | |

I have seen other posts where men say they really like smaller breasts, some even prefer them. If you do go ahead with them be sure to not go too large for your small frame. Maybe a large B or small C. To me it's not worth losing the sensation but to each their own I guess. How about taking the money you were going to spend on a boob job and get a brand new totally hot wardrobe to build that self-esteem?

I'm sure all of us have at some point in our lives, especially in our teens, had problems with self confidence/image - I really think this was totally rude and uncalled for !!

Implants will take away your sense of self and may cause health problems that weren't present before. I wouldn't do it (personally); it's too big of a risk. However, do what makes you comfortable - just remember, you're still young and will continue to grow with time. | |

Don't blame us - we're hard wired that way as larger breasts are an unconcious indicator that our offspring won't starve when it comes to feeding time. Another unconcious trigger that they serve as is as indicators of fertility and sexual maturity.

I have friends who are big boobed, and they would trade any day to be me. They have trouble finding fitting clothes too. Clothes are not made individually.
I'm a D cup... not by choice, and buying tops and dresses is a pain in the butt. As you could tell, the clothing industry is geared towards smaller women, that also applies to smaller breasts as well. Try being a C or D cup or larger and shopping for a top or dress. It's so hard, and most of the stuff I find needs to be taken in or let out thanks to my boobs.
To be honest, fake boobs look... well, fake. There are problems that could occur and they are expensive. Do you really think that spending 5 grand will buy you the self confidence that you think you'll get from bigger boobs? Nope, self confidence doesn't come from bigger boobs, or a smaller bum, or highlights in your hair... it comes from you changing the way you see yourself... from the inside out.
I had small to average size boobs when I was in high school, I thought that because I had hit puberty that my boobs had hit their peak size... boy was I wrong... by the time I was 25 my boobs had grown 2 sizes. Give it time... really think about this. It's not a small decision.

I've been around for quite a while and altho I started out small as is almost flat, I'd give away more than 1/2 of mine now. There is nothing natural about implanted breasts, remember that anyone feeling them is going to know or at least suspect that they are not real. That sure doesn't help your self confidence.
Listen to the poster who works or worked with a plastic surgeon, get many many professional opinions. And I apologize BUT I don't think that false boobs gives you confidence and at your age you are STILL DEVELOPING confidence, your body, your brain and your sense of being. Petite looks cute and you can wear anything. | |
