Posted: 6/27/2007 4:58:25 PM | There is also a time I think when people have become accepting (not settling) of the fact that the ideal is not perfect for them. I know someone who married a dude just because he can play a few riffs on a fake stratocaster in a punk band! It doesn't take much to be in a punk band especially if you know 3 chords  , but it takes plenty to see through relationships, marriage, family, finances etc. Needless to say, she is having an emotional affair (could be sexual I dunno) with someone a bit grown up and stable....
If there is a pattern, most likely there needs to be an adjustment in outlook and expectation, I think. | |

I think I had a pattern of falling for the bad guys, realised that this time and tried to break the pattern? Looked for someone quite unlike the previous.
I have thought about it more today and perhaps it is my expectations that people are in essence good and fair? Perhaps I just live in a fantasy world? Perhaps I just expect too much of myself? I hope that my relationships are not a mirror of who I really am...that would just be too sad to think about....
Perhaps by being so open I attract these guys?
Sigh...I don't know but I sure seem to be doing something wrong? | |

I think we all lament at times why we attract the wrong type of person but in the end you just have to keep the faith time is a never ending journey and love is a never ending smile its only something thats lasts a short while...........So where the f*%k is she then?? | |
