Posted: 7/3/2007 5:57:31 PM | Having waded through this it's fascinating OP is acting like the proverbial wronged woman here-----all from a reaction to her very own words! Coupled with her snotty remarks showing her unappreciative nature regarding replies here that she doesn't like or agree with it's no wonder she's miffed at this guy. He simply points out a few things in her profile he doesn't appreciate and all of sudden she needs a witty retort----yeah--that'll really show him, huh?? LOL
I don't think he was really all that rude unless it's seen as such by replying in a truthful way. While his words might have been more friendly but why? He wasn't interested in her, stated why and that should have been the end of it. No matter his reasons for "rejecting" her it's his choice. Truthfully, like him if things of this nature are listed near the top of a list of interests then it is a turn off for me. It doesn't matter what else she has written if a few things like G'sNO and getting hammered are her idea of "fun". I won't date a smoker and even one that has a great photo or great things to say in her profile if that single thing is present it's my deal breaker. It's simply a personal preference and not necessarily judging them---------I just don't care for that.
Quit agonizing over something that's meaningless and quit whining about it, too. We've all been "rejected" for things we think shouldn't be important but others disagree. We've moved on and don't give it this much energy or space in our lives. | |

I'm so sorry, but I can't just let that slide without some sort of response.
Why? He obviously didn't give you much thought and typed out a quick reply. Any response you give, no matter how witty, will just show him that you spent a lot more time on this than he did.

Witty comebacks are meant for something that happened at the time not days later. Maybe the guy could have been a little more diplomatic, but to lash out at him is immature. Posted: 7/3/2007 7:40:58 PM | Clearly he did not have the ability to read beyond what he saw and what he saw was not what you wrote. He is a loser going to still be looking a few months from now. Basically he is not worth the effort you want to spend on giving him a witty retort, I do doubt that he would even have the ability to understand your wit and wisdom even if one of us was there to coach him on it.
Though I just cut the poor guy down, I don't want you to spend the time doing so. He will not read the responses you get here unless you show them to him. So enjoy what you read and blow him off, he is really not worth your time. Your sentences were plain enough for my dog to understand, she is old, but she still understands when I am talking about her, and she is loyal as a dog can be, though I think my cat is smarter cause she keeps the rift raft out of my things.
